'"OFFER FOR THE INAUGURATION": lasts until 12 December 2019, consists in giving the first ten guests, (who purchase a stay for any date before 12 December), a 20% discount on the base price, which it is not repeatable. So hurry up and eventually talk to your friends.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD AT THE STADIUM (on the other side of the Tiber) allows me to offer a discount to families who want to come and watch the games in a soft way. For this contact the owner.
These are the advantages of living at my home, in the Flaminio district, the 1st historic city of Rome:
MARINE BREEZE in summary is:
1) A pleasant, comfortable and airy accommodation
2) All new in the renovated house, with air conditioning and fan for the summer, and super-adjustable radiators for the winter.
3) All safe with security door, grated windows and a large safe.
4) In front of the property there is a beautiful public garden, tennis courts and a swimming pool open to the public; on the other side of the Tiber, 100 meters away, there is the Foro Italico for the International Tennis Championships and the Flaminio Stadium for soccer athletes.
5) Next to the garden there is ample parking, at € 3 a day, in addition to those with blue stripes and free parking lots.
6) With the TRAM, almost below the house, you will be in Piazzale Flaminio in 5 minutes and you can choose whether to start the tour from Piazza del Popolo or take the Metro to cross the whole city (A + B take you to the Circus Maximus, to the Baths) of Caracalla, at the Colosseum or at EUR)
With the Metro you can also reach the Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci AIRPORTS and (with the addition of the ATRAL shuttle lines) that of Ciampino. On request I send you all the information.
7) In Piazza Mancini there is the terminus of other 14 BUSes to move around Rome
8) There is also the possibility to access the tennis courts and swimming pools (outdoors for the summer) or the ice skating rink c / o Parco della Musica in winter.
9) I also offer the availability of a free bicycle, if you will stay for at least a week: few rides and you will reach beyond the shops for shopping, the Capoprati River Park with cycle path or numerous tracks for Rome, with the possibility of renting others for your traveling companions.
10) In the same district Flaminio you will find Cinema, Teatro Olimpico, Parco della Musica, Restaurants also with Roman cuisine, of which I will give you addresses, Maxxi Museum, Zoological garden, Explora Museum for children, Villa Borghese and the Museum of Modern Art , Valle Giulia Museum, everything in the neighborhood ... also reachable on foot
11) Finally in my house you will find, in addition to many appliances and an affectionate reception, also a collection of many information to find you at ease in the DISTRICT, in the CITY and at the TABLE.
I wait for you with confidence
And now I speak to you about me and my Rome more extensively.
My name is Annalisa and I am the owner, together with my husband, of an apartment in Rome, in a strategic position to visit the city, quite central, but far from the chaos.
I have given my preference to periods of a week, but even 3/4 days are my size.
In the 1st historic district of Rome, the Flaminio, quiet, very connected, and full of entertainment of all kinds, my house, BREZZA MARINA, is composed of living room with kitchenette, two bedrooms for a total of 3 beds and every comfort (on request: air conditioning, heater, WiFi, possibility of extra beds and more).
One room is double, with the possibility of adding a bed for a child; The one-bed room on request will be replaced by a bunk bed; then there is the "Garden and parking under the house" in P. Mancini. You go to the center very well also by public transport: in 5 minutes you can get to the Metro A of P. le Flaminio by tram and from p. zza del Popolo (neighboring) you can start the tour on foot: proposal of 8 destinations in a day, or other fancy and little-known destinations, of which you will find the collection made by me.
In the square there are another 14 bus lines throughout Rome, so you can do without the car (moreover, the center is difficult to master with the car).
With the tram it is really reached in 5 minutes p. the Flaminio, and from there you can set off on a walking tour to get to Piazza del Popolo and Villa Borghese (a digression to Via del Babuino to see Via Margutta and its artists) and then Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, up to piazza Venezia, along via del Corso, where you can do great shopping (and for those with good legs you can also get to the Colosseum by way of the Imperial Forums) all for a single straight road, until you can take a square Venice a bus to S. Pietro (64, paying attention to his wallet) and finishing the first day having seen the most important things. If you continue the tour on foot instead, you will also go to Piazza Navona, one of the most beautiful squares in the world. (In the Christmas period it is an explosion of stalls, candy floss and objects to make quality cribs). If, on the other hand, you want to enjoy the details, take all the time you can by extending your journey and you won't regret it.
I, who worked for years near Fr. ity Venice, I saw the tourists passing by and I often dreamed of spending a week in a hotel in the center, to be able to go sightseeing too for Rome ...
Let me give you another hint, starting with my mother's ancestors: in Piazza del Popolo, among the various works of art there are 4 statues representing the 4 seasons. One of these, the statue of Spring, was sculpted by the uncle of a great-grandfather of mine: Architect and sculptor Filippo Gnaccarini. (Even his nephew, my great-grandfather, named Costantino Sneider and architect of the Vatican, left important works).
The two twin churches of Fr. del Popolo, for example, have been modified several times, by the will of the Popes, by my ancestors, including my great-grandfather Costantino Sneider and my grandfather Ing. Filippo Sneider, both Architects of the Holy Apostolic Palaces.
This does not mean that Rome is mine, but I am proud of it; I have another piece of history that concerns me, which I want to mention to you, of my father's ancestors ...
Yes, in fact at the Gianicolo, (to visit even just to see the spectacular Panorama of Rome) together with all the busts in memory of the Garibaldini, in a garden near the statue of Garibaldi on horseback, there is also the bust of one of my ancestors , General Giuseppe Dezza who joined his name to that of the Cogliati family, so much so that my name is Annalisa Cogliati Dezza.
On the part of my paternal grandmother (all Romans of Rome) I have instead the honor to tell you that my great-grandfather, my grandmother's father, named Pio Gallas is the one who built the Teatro Adriano, in Piazza Cavour, of which I prepared history, to read at home. Grandfather Pio built the Teatro Adriano where he is now the Waldensian Church, but he was on fire. He did not lose heart and rebuilt it in society with another person where he is still, but unfortunately only the facade remains. It was a beautiful theater, but the new owners preferred to throw it down to make us multiplexes. I still weep when I see a courtyard wall standing inside the Cinema. On that courtyard I looked out of my house where I was born and remained until my adolescence. And that beauty no longer exists.
For the many things you will want to see during a first trip, you will surely think of going back to Rome several times, until you are satisfied, and I hope to see you back in my house "Brezza Marina" for the "following episodes"

This landlady spoiled our holiday very much
Before we left, everything had been paid for and the content had been clarified, and the private email addresses had been exchanged for further communication. The landlady had stated that we could also communicate in French. Then the landlady - during our arrival - started to flood us with requests, only in Italian and all questions already processed. On the spot, she had a neighbour check our identity cards, which we had already sent her several times as a scan in various ways. This was still not enough for the landlady and for several days she demanded that we send her private photos of us. And all this while the wifi in the flat was not working - as advertised and paid for by us! It was all very unpleasant, she took away a lot of our joy in and about Rome.

Flaminio
