Luxury Shepherds Hut with hot tub and WiFi in rural location near Bath +Bristol
Bye Mills shepherd hut is in the old fashioned garden of Bye Mills Farm nestling in between the vegetable and herb garden with views either across the fruit trees of the garden or the fields to the river.
A stunning location with beautiful walks in all directions and ideally located for exploring Bristol, Bath and Wells.
**Minimum 2 night stay, minimum age is 21 with no exceptions. **
Accommodation Features;
The hut has a comfortable king size bed with all seasons duvet, extra blankets and sheepskins for your warmth and comfort.
There are two armchairs and a table.
Underfloor heating
Log burner
Kitchen equipped with fridge, butler sink, small two ring electric stove.
Ensuite bathroom with shower, towels and bathrobes.
Hot tub with flip flops.
We can provide OS Maps, binoculars and cycles on request.
Outside space with hot tub, outside seating and Kadai barbq fire pit. Bordered by the vegetable and herb garden where fresh produce comes from.
Apart from your private garden area feel free to access the vegetable garden (this area is shared with the owners).
Please ask if you wish to use the table tennis so we can give you the paddles.
The orchard, where the chickens live.
The Chew Valley boasts many fantastic pubs including Josh Eggletons' Michelin starred Pony and Trap, as well as Salt n Malt beside the very picturesque Chew Valley Lake. Bye Mills is situated next to Blackmore and Langdon Nurseries - prise winning exhibitors of Delphiniums and Begonias at Chelsea. If you wish to experience some foraging or bush survival skills we are very close to Hidden Valley Bushcraft run by ex-marine Nick Goldsmith. Or you could visit The Community Farm beside Chew Lake for organic produce.
Bristol and Bath both feature markets, theatres and restaurants. Historic Bath and Wells are famous for Bath Abbey, The Roman Baths and Pump Room, Bath's famous Georgian architecture and crescents, Wells Cathedral and The Bishops Palace. From for its quirky shops and market.
Perfect for a country break ,walking, fishing, local pubs or for exploring the local area.
