This attractive 400 year old converted barn is located in the pretty riverside village of Dittisham in Devon and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

Just a short stroll from the beautiful river Dart in the pretty village of Dittisham is The Tallet, an attractive cottage converted from a 400 year old barn. Outside are four acres of shared lawns and orchards to explore and within a short stroll a good pub, water sports and crabbing from the riverside. Inside the cottage is cosy and stylish with two ground floor bedrooms. The first floor living area is open plan with a sitting/dining room and well equipped kitchen. Glazed doors open onto a small patio garden with excellent river views. With beaches and attractions nearby The Tallet is a brilliant base for an interesting break in Devon.

Charm, comfort, location

A comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage. Guest info/instruction book very helpful. Exactly as presented in description. Incredibly peaceful and quiet in a wonderful, charming village. Numerous day trips easily taken during our 6 night stay, lovely walk to The Ferry Boat Inn and The Anchorstone Café (highly recommend). Village shop surprisingly well stocked. The Park & Ride into Dartmouth easy and convenient. Unusual to require the need to bring your own bath towel; inconvenient for international travelers with luggage limitations. Would highly recommend.
