House was in good shape, hot tub and stream running behind house were great. Had some issues with the neighbors dog but Pam was responsive and helped us out. Would stay there again.
This property was perfect for what we were looking for and more! My favorite things about this rental is that it’s on a clean beautiful creek with sitting area, has hot tub, fire pit, views from the complete wrap around porch, horseshoes, hammocks, and privacy! We enjoyed our time immensely!

Great place for adults, do not bring your children here there are wild dogs. We couldn’t stay outside because of the dogs.

Hello Alexa, it was great having you guys.
Sorry about the neighbor's dog. Her name is Luna and harmless, I know she has shown up there several times, I have asked the neighbor to keep her up, but he says she is an escape artist. I will be visiting with him again to let him know she was over there, There are no wild dogs just one that the neighbor cant seem to keep in his fence. I will be taking care of that.
Thanks for staying with us.
We rent a lot of cabins throughout Blue Ridge, Ellijay, Helen, etc. And never has there been one with as much charm and character. We would love to come back again in the summer and enjoy all this place has to offer!

Thank you so much for your nice review!
This was our second stay at this cabin. We love its rustic, cozy feel and the property is absolutely beautiful. One of our favorite features is the wrap around balcony with an abundance of seating for family and friends. The lower apartment was perfect for my mother-in-law. Stone steps take you down to the creekfront, where you can sit in chairs right next to the water.
We have fallen in love with this property and come back every October to relax and go apple picking. We love to have fires in the fire pit and soak in the hot tub. The kids stay upstairs and the adults stay downstairs so we all have our privacy and then come together. The orchards and wineries in the area are wonderful. Everything is clean and we had everything we needed. We’ll be back!
We loved staying at Clear Creek! My kids had a blast in the water! So much so, that we barely even used the hot tub. The only "negative" feedback were the ants if food wasn't closed up entirely and any dirty dishes were left out, but I guess that's expected when you're in a rural area. Overall, rate it a 10, though
The cabin is small but cozy and has everything you could imagine you would need.. Extremely child and pet friendly grounds .. The new furniture and mattress were a huge plus.. We enjoyed hours of coffee, porch and fire pit sitting .. Jacuzzi was hot and clean.. Stocked with plenty of towels and blankets, yard toys for the children plus games in the cabin.. We will be back in the summer for some water therapy..
The property was ideal for our two day getaway. I was glad to see an ample supply of firewood even though we brought bundles! The fire pit turned out to be the center of our gathering. The profile does not do it justice! Kind of felt like a visit to gramma and grandpa s 😀. Grandkids and dog had a ball running around the yard and running down to the stream.!! All were exhausted and slept well. Kitchen was well provisioned. Enjoyed our stay!

We are so glad your family had a good time. When my kids were little they were the grandkids running thru the yard. My parents, who build this cabin, were so happy when the many grandkids would come for a stay! You will just have to come back in the summer to play in the creek. It's MAGICIAL!!!!
What a beautiful place to spend Thanksgiving! With adult children and their kids, there was something for everyone to have a relaxed, fun time. Fishing in the beautiful creek, campfires in the fire pit, horseshoe tournaments and everything from a sandbox to yard games for the little ones. The deer came morning and evening and even played with a dog from nearby! And top it off with a well kept hot tub it doesn’t get better!
The whole cabin was warm and inviting. Thank you so much for sharing this place. It is truly a family retreat. Great job!

The cabin was the right size for our family of 5. We thought the outside only stairs to the lower level were strange. Our 2 young adult sons down there probably enjoyed it though. We enjoyed both the hot tub and the creek. They were very relaxing and refreshing after a day of hiking. Loved the information in the cabin about the area. The cell phone connection was spotty as mentioned but the internet connection was spotty also.
Took a weekend with friends and brought the dogs! Dog’s had an absolute blast! Oh my goodness! The creek was amazing, don’t be afraid to put the chairs in the water and pour yourself a drink. Hours of nothing but peaceful, private relaxation. Place was spotless, everything I could think of that I needed, I had. The place comes with everything inside and out. Outdoor fireplace is awesome, outdoor games, hammock and wrap around porch to watch the deer, made our trip so memorable. Rent this place if you want absolute privacy, peace and quiet. Thank you Windy for being an amazing host, we will be back soon.
It was nice and I'm definitely not complaining. We lived the outside. The yard is amazing and it is right on a creek. We had campfires and it was absolutely beautiful. The inside is TINY and cramped. The beds and furniture were very uncomfortable and in need of updating. The shower was unpleasant and it was very musty inside the home. Again, we are not complaining just want to let anyone else know who may want to stay. Its not quite what we expected inside but the outside was awesome.

Alexander and the family were very nice. They took great care of the property.
Just great!
We appreciate your response and want all of our guests to have an enjoyable and comfortable stay at our retreat. We have just this month (12/2020) replaced all the beds with new high quality orthopedic mattresses and all the living room furniture (both floors) with new high quality couches, love seats, and recliners. We have done our best to declutter while still providing all the amenities a vacationer needs to stay comfortable and safe. We hope you will come back to see the improvements.
Cabin is located directly in clear Creek which was very nice and relaxing. Our 5 year old loved picking rocks in the creek and looking for "gold" and treasure. Cabin had a nice homey feel and a lot of decorations. Main level of the cabin had 1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom with laundry room, a full kitchen and family room area with a trundle bed and a recliner. The upstairs is only accessible from outside the main level, which is a little inconvenient, but has 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, a full kitchen and a dining area and family room. The entire upstairs haS an entire wrap around porch with plenty of room for sitting and eating. The hot tub was a nice way to relax at night after putting the kids to bed. Overall we would definitely recommend this cabin and look forward to coming back again.
We had a great time.Pam was right there at anytime we texted even before we checked in .The cabin made us feel like a family home and at a family members home ..The clear creek was amazing ,We enjoyed the hot tub, sitting on the up porch watching the dear every morning and evening earring the corn ,watching humming birds ,tubes down Clear creek .We brought our little family dog and she really enjoyed it .Both upstairs and down stairs are equipped with very thing you need for two different families of you have a big family or two families . I would say this was a outstanding find and very relaxing .The wrap around porch was amazing .and so many different places to sit all around the whole place from little children chairs ,rocking chairs ,lawn chairs, hammocks, picnic tables and out door shower was great after creek or hot tub Beautiful all the way even the drive . Thanks so much for having us The Clark's from Sarasota Fla
The property is huge! Fire pit, horseshoes, creek, hot tub. Downside is someone is building on one side, sadly takes away from the privacy. It could use a groundskeeper or someone to come hive the outside a good landscape so it’s more useable. The inside is very cozy and has a great home feeling. It is one cabin but two separate entrances. Makes it perfect for a group. Upstairs has a huge wrap around deck, amazing place to sip morning coffee. It also has 2 bedrooms 1 bath full kitchen. Downstairs has 1 room 1 bath and walk out access to the hot tub. There are beautiful hiking spots all over but other than that there isn’t much to do in town. It was a perfect place to get away from everything and everyone, the perfect place to enjoy doing absolutely nothing but enjoying your day. Host is easily available. Very pet friendly, our dogs loved roaming and playing in the creek.
Pam was nice but not helpful. Stayed here for wknd to look at potential purchase of property in ellijay area. First day kitchen sink leaked so couldn’t use it had to use bathroom sink to fill coffee pot etc, that night while we were sleeping carbon monoxide detector went off called pam no answer had to turn off heat & open door it was freezing outside so very cold that night, 2nd night power went out & couldn’t turn on heater because of the carbon monoxide so 2 nights with no heat & power stayed out so we decided to pack up & go home @ 8 in the morning because we couldn’t make coffee shower etc.
Upstairs we never used because when we arrived and viewed the property with Pam there was a gas smell that even Pam acknowledged & told us it was because the owner had just been there & left that morning so we opt to stay downstairs.

We are sorry you feel you had a bad experience. I did my very best to accommodate you. I am sorry I did not hear my phone ring at midnight when you called. But as soon as I seen you call the next morning I immediately got in touch. We have had the kitchen sink checked by a plumber and he could not find any leaking at all. The sink has worked fine before and after your checkout..It is unfortunate the carbon monoxide did alarm with you so late and woke you. But it is for the customers protection that we have them installed their. I am not sure why it went off but if their was something in the air that could have harmed you and your husband I am certainly glad it did its job. Their was a storm that came through and the power did go off during the night and I am sorry you didn't know how to turn the propane heater on so you would not get cold. I do remember asking you both when I was their checking you in if you were familiar with the propane heater and your husband said yes. The storm we had no control over. And the owner was very concerned and she want to compensate you back and she gave a $50.00 refund just because she is a great caring lady and she cares about her customers..But in end the just let me apologize and say I wish you could have enjoyed your stay at Ccrf. We think you both were nice people.
We had some difficulty with checking in (codes were not texted to us as promised), but once we were in, we had a wonderful time. This is our second year staying here for our annual family apple picking, and we love this house! The kids can stay upstairs while the parents relax downstairs. We had a fire in the fire pit and enjoyed the hot tub. It was too cold for the creek, but we took long walks and enjoyed the scenery. We particularly like the B.J. Reece orchard nearby. Definitely recommend this property; we will be back next year!
This rental could not have been more perfect for our family's wants this vacation. The stream, the gracious hosts, the little family things (sandbox, swing, wonderful firepit, tubes, multiple outdoor seatings, wraparound porch, etc.) just made the trip. It's not cushy resort style, just good, comfortable, relaxing country living. The only downside was a neighbor's dog. Not dangerous, just a little annoying. All in all, a great stay!
2 adults and 2 fur babies. We all loved this property. Hot tub under the stars with a full moon was perfect for our relaxation trip. Lots to do or just sit back and watch nature. Birds and squirrels were very busy during our mid-March visit. Anthony or Janice were always there for us for our questions. Wonder property!!!!!

Need improvement:
-Upstairs needs a deep clean
-Decor fell on my head when I closed (not slammed) a kitchen cabinet. Not usually a big deal, but it was painful.
-Upstairs bathroom decor (porcelain dogs) cluttered the space that could be used by guests.
-Although disclosed, one roll of toilet tissue for each bathroom for an 8 guest house doesn’t make sense. I paid a little over $2,000 for a one week stay, I would think they could spring for 2 rolls per bathroom. I left extra rolls for the next guest (hopefully).
-“Kitchen fully stocked” meant between the two kitchens. I found myself having to go down stairs to the separate “apartment” to find kitchen items that I needed to cook with upstairs…a lot.
-Needs a butcher block of sharp knives. I cooked breakfast and dinner there and it was tough without a variety of knives, especially sharp ones.
-Needs some type of pantry on each level. I brought a lot of food and had no place to put it. Had to walk around boxes of food all week. The upstairs desk area could be a possibility for a pantry.
-I did all the cooking upstairs and made a lot of casseroles. The gas oven wasn’t cooking the center of anything, which was frustrating. I didn’t try the oven downstairs so I can’t speak to that one.
-Had to FaceTime audio if I needed to call a family member downstairs. Connection wasn’t that great, but it is in the mountains. I could surf the internet 99% of the time without issue though.
-I think landscaping would go along way with this place. (My opinion of course)
Just a FYI for future renters:
-The upstairs is really small.
-Hardly any counter space downstairs.
-If you want luxury, this isn’t it. If you are a snob who looks for things to complain about, do not stay here.
-If you don’t like cabin/country/thrift shop decor, you won’t like the decor.
-If you don’t like mixed matched kitchen wares, you won’t like the kitchens.
