Just had a long weekend at the property, such a beautiful bungalow, very clean and very spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bedrooms extremely comfortable, very spacious lounge with ample seating. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in the future. No hassle booking.

Thank you, Ruth. Yourself and your group were a pleasure to host.
The house was very clean and spacious. I stayed with ages from 4 to 15 and they all loved the trampoline, the garden was just perfect for them. Everything is available in the bungalow to get yourself ready and out for a great day. We enjoyed Scarborough beach and I was glad I could get the kids clothes washed and ready for them the next day to go do it all again. After days at the beach we could even come back to enjoy netflix/ Disney + and have our movie nights. The house could not have been more perfect.
Had a fantastic stay thank you Andrew everything was as it should be very happy time was had by all would not hesitate to recommend Andrew and his lovely home thank you again Kevin
3 generations had a wonderful stay the grandchildren had a fabulous time in the garden. Good location for visiting Scarborough and Whitby as well as elsewhere on this coast. Would certainly recommend the plough in Scalby for eating out.
This is a superb house. Everything you could need was provided. The house was really comfortable and kept to a very high standard. Our group was two couples but I could see the house also being ideal for a family. The garden is well set up with plenty to keep the kids happy. The house is at the edge of the village with open country nearby. There is a bus stop outside the bungalow. Regular local buses stop there and take you to the centre of Scarborough. The pub at the end of the road, 5 minute walk, is the Rosette. It serves excellent food and the staff there are really good. All four of us would highly recommend this bungalow . Brilliant place to stay to visit Scarborough.
Just returned from a long weekend staying at this bungalow. Great communication from the owner. The property is really well maintained and lovely and clean. We would highly recommend people to stay here. Close to Scarborough, just a 10 minute drive. Can’t fault anything! Highly recommended and will definately book again!
We stayed in this property for a book festival in Scarborough over the weekend of 11-14 June and it was perfect. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and in a lovely residential neighbourhood about 10 minutes drive from the centre of Scarborough. It’s also well served by public transport. Andrew was so easy to deal with and always responded to my emails very quickly. This was particularly appreciated after we had left and then realised we had left some medication in the fridge, The garden is lovely and is in sun all day. We would love to return one day with our grandchildren as it’s a great garden for the kids with climbing frame/swings, trampoline and large playhouse.
Property is very conveniently located, clean, comfortable and has fluffiest towels ever.
Recommended for a short stay; away from the traffic in the town, but close enough to visit easily.
We loved Proudfoot super market just down the road.
Wonderful house in a great location. Great property for a family holiday. House has everything you need both inside and out. Sited in a lovely neighbourhood. Located a couple of mile from the beach. We will return in the summer.

About the host
Hosted by Andrew Winters
I grew up in Scarborough very near to this house, which we originally bought as a holiday home for our young family of three children (and eventually maybe our retirement home!).
The house is part of a portfolio of quality holiday homes and long-term rentals that we offer in Scarborough, Whitby and York.
Why they chose this property
We believe that Scalby village is the best place to live and stay in Scarborough due to its tranquil way of life and traditional character, whilst at the same time providing easy access to all that the town and its surrounding areas have to offer.
