We had all our family here for the Christmas break. The house was ideal for everyone and gave us a really good break away. It suits everyone from grandparents down to grandchildren and we would highly recommend it.
We had a great holiday at this house. It was really spacious and was very well stocked with everything we needed - kitchen utensils, games and books, towels etc. The beds were very comfortable and garden was lovely
We had a lovely stay at this property. The house has a modern interior, clean, plenty of beds and parking. Also, the pub within walking distance was lovely and had great food. Would absolutely stay here again!
Wonderful large property with a fabulous garden. Certainly the best presented and best equipped holiday rental we have ever had - best equipped kitchen, fabulous quality towels, linen etc, tv and entertainment facilities - even a trampoline in the garden which the kids loved. Top quality throughout.
Very comfortable stay, with great connection and facilities. the house was very well stocked and great internet speeds to allow for multiple working stations and video calling
would highly recommend the stay
It was lovely learning about Alicia and her family through this beautiful home. It was very family friendly, we had 3 generations there for the long weekend and there was something for everyone whether it be the accomodating kitchen, the drawing room with all the games for all ages, the piano the kids loved, the garden games and the bedrooms where Alicia was very accommodating providing for the baby too. Thank you for everything and we definitely recommend this home to others.
Wonderful house and garden very well equipped.Comfortable beds. An ideal holiday home for family with young children in the idyllic english countryside. Lots of places of interest to visit. Of course a car is necessary.
Stunning house to celebrate my mums 80th with our family, all together. Clean, well equipped and had all the extra toiches you need! Thank yoi for being so helpful leading upto our stay. Would recommend 110%
A very spacious and beautiful house perfect for 3 families. Very comfy beds, lots of space inside and out and plenty of places for day trips. We had a fabulous weekend. Thank you!
The house is spacious with plenty of room for all our family. The large garden lends itself to plenty of outdoor games and BBQ’s on sunny days
It is in a great location, with pubs, tea room and small village shops within walking distance. We had a lovely long weekend and will look to return when we bring the family altogether again
This house is just the best. Clever mixture of high tech and country comfort with the added benefit for book lovers that there are hundreds of books to suit all tastes throughout the house. Also a lovely garden for the kids to play in. And a nice pub two minutes walk down the hill. All in all, it suited our extended family perfectly and we all had a great time.
clearly a second or third home, not a property held for rental. excellent furniture/furnishings/decor, many fine paintings and prints, hundreds of paperbacks in bookcases throughout. highly recommend
We all (6 adults and 5 children) enjoyd our family celebration in this beautiful, spacious house. It has a great garden and the trampoline was well used despite the weather being very cold! The house was perfect for our family gatherings round the dinning table and the children loved the piano lounge whilst the adults enjoyed the log burner in the lounge. Any queries we had were quickly answered by our host. I would thoroughly recommend this stunning house. efinitely is situated in a wonderful area

Dear Maureen, thank you so much for your kind comments. I’m glad you enjoyed the house and garden as much as we do. Alicia
3 generations of family together for a birthday celebration and the house was fantastic. Lots of open space, great decor - immaculate - everything you could need and lovely spacious garden all set in a great village location with pub a few steps down the road. The host was immediately responsive to a few minor queries/queries. What's not to love and can thoroughly recommend a celebration dinner at Potager Restaurant 25 mins away and lunch at the Victoria Inn was great too. Fantastic!
We were three generations, 5 adults and 5 children aged 7 to 12 staying at Tythe House. It was difficult finding a property that had enough single beds for the children, until we found this one. The house and garden were extremely spacious, with every facility you could possibly wish for. A great deal of thought has gone into providing everything a family could need. We visited Chichester Museum and Cathedral. West Wittering Beach was lovely, we recommend this if the weather is good.
Our grateful thanks to Alicia the owner.
The house was wonderful just like a home not a hotel. It is very light with comfort everywhere. Everything you could possibly want in the kitchen. The bed were extremely comfortable with a very high quality cotton sheets a joy to get into every evening. The pub in the village was wonderful and Catherine the owner was very welcoming. We had a lovely stay with our family to celebrate my husbands 80th birthday. Thank you Alicia. 😃
We had a wonderful long weekend with our family of 11 (6 adults and 5 children) to celebrate my husband’s big birthday.
The house was lovely and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and lots of seating in the living room for when we cheered on GBR during the Paris Olympics.
We were lucky with the weather so had a day at West Wittering Beach, Sunday lunch at the Victoria Inn, a trip to Stansted Housr and farm shop and lots of games of rounders in the garden and table tennis too.
A magical time all under the same roof. Treasured memories forever.
Thanks to our host for being so communicative whenever we had a question, and for going out of her way to track down a wayward package that was delivered elsewhere.
We had a really lovely stay at the house and it was perfect for our 3.5 day stay over Xmas. The communication with the owner was very quick and efficient. The house catered for all our needs and everyone had a very enjoyable stay with plenty of room for everyone to be together or find their own space. It is in a perfectly quiet location, good for long walks and family get togethers.
The only issue we had were a large number of flies in the main bathroom, which we dealt with but more did keep appearing. It only affected this one room in the house. We understand the owner is dealing with this.

So glad you enjoyed your stay but so sorry about the flies. We do occasionally get attacks of cluster flies in the attic but this is the first time we’ve had them in the main house. We have cleared the whole house of flies and no more have appeared in the last few days. We will keep a sharp eye out for any recurrence.
I booked the house for a weekend away with a group of friends and we couldn’t have hoped for a better place to chill out together for the weekend.
Communication with the host was good, both before the stay and on the day of arrival after I had to text with a query and got a prompt response.
The house was beautifully done up with a really well equipped kitchen (2 fridges & 2 dishwashers!!) and an amazing garden. The table tennis table was a great addition and got lots of action over the weekend! There was a BBQ at the house and our hostess even provided charcoal for us after our online food order arrived minus the charcoal we had ordered.
The lounge was a great size and accommodated us all comfortably but it was handy also having a smaller lounge if anyone wanted a bit of piece and quiet, plus great to have a cupboard full of games.
The beds were all really comfy and the standard of cleanliness was very high.
I can’t fault anything about the house. I only wish we could have stayed for a week.
Many thanks Alicia. Hope to return at some point.
