Nicely updated and clean 1BR 1BA condo right on the lake! Queen bed in bedroom as well as large sofa. Fully equipped kitchen with grill on large covered deck. The condo features cable TV, Blueray player, WIFI, all the comforts from home right next to the water. Indoor swimming pool open year round, outdoor swimming pool on the point and swim area in the lake (seasonal). There are also onsite tennis courts as well as playground. Perfect for a couple. Very clean and well stocked. Location is what we were looking for this trip. Comfortable bed. The outdoor grill worked well. We never had to use the stove. View from the balcony was overlooking the swim area. Plenty of ducks to watch. The outdoor pool was very relaxing and opened late. We would definitely rent again. Ben and Nicole had everything ready and we never had to contact them.

The listing was advertised as having a pull out couch and a queen bed. We showed up and there was no pull out couch. My friend had to sleep on a tiny couch that didn't pull out while I took the bed. The host would not give us any discount on the night we stayed even though it was not accurately listed as having two beds. My friend barely slept. They refunded only the second night if we checked out the next day. Had to get a hotel the second night last minute.

We were down for Bikefest and wanted to be closer to the Bagnel Dam. The location was pretty good. I liked that it was a gated community. Everything was very clean. It was a nice stay.

The place is super clean and filled with all the dishes, glasses and utensils to make cooking a breeze. There’s also an outdoor grill and nice area for sitting outside. Definitely felt at home here!

Ozarks Trip 2025

The Ozarks we like to come down every year just spend time checking out sites and places and go to Aqua Palooza and watch the Bands. Weather was good and had Fun!

Mini vacation

Unit was spotless and furnished with everything you need. Utensils available to cook some meals in the condo. Property was very clean. Loved the pool and the people in the complex were all very friendly. Convenient location. Will definitely stay there again.

Met several neighbors who either live there permanently or are there most weekends and they were very helpful with suggestions on restaurants and things to do and extremely nice! My husband and I are full time lake residents that grew up vacationing here from out of state. We met here on the lake, got married here, and how have our family here. We love it here and want others to experience everything this beautiful area has to offer.

Why they chose this property

This property was originally a weekend get away that turned into full time living before purchasing a more suitable full time place for a family. We loved the amenities southwood shores offers, its central location to lake activities, and friendly atmosphere.

What makes this property unique

It's one of the few condos in the area with an indoor pool that is open year round. This makes winter getaway's even more enticing or a fun place to hang out on a rainy day.
