Daphne Cottage has under gone a total remodel, completed July 2019.
Central heated plus wood Burner and free Fibre Wifi.
An excellent mix of cute cottage and comfortable modern.

Bedrooms.
There are three superbly appointed bedrooms.
Bedroom one with superking/twin bed, please request set up on booking, Hypnos bed for a luxury nights sleep
Bedroom Two with King size bed, with Hypnos bed for a luxury nights sleep
Bedroom three with twin beds, comfy and relaxing , a distant sea view, on a clear day and you have good eye site.

Lounge
The lounge area is spacious with Wood burning stove and two comfy sofa's.
There is a smart TV and Blue ray player
The Wifi is Fibre to the house enough for the whole family

Dinning
Dinning area seats six people around a beautiful solid wood table

Kitchen
The Kitchen has a rangemaster gas cooker with gas hob and electric ovens, and retro Smeg Fridge.
Dish washer including sufficient dish wash tabs for your stay
Microwave is located in the utility area.

Coffee maker.

Utilitity Area
A washing machine is provided with sufficient wash powder for your stay.

Bathrooms
The family bathroom (First floor) has large bath for a relaxing soak after a hard day at the beach. and shaving point.
The shower room (Ground floor)features walk in shower with electronic shower controls

Lawned garden with patio furniture and charcoal BBQ
The is an outside tap for washing all surf equipment and wetsuits.
There is ample off road parking for 2 cars and cycle storage area if required, request on booking.

Location

Daphne cottage is near the coast , 4 minutes from the lovely harbour at Porthleven , in the heart of Poldark country. It's a great location for Beach or touring holiday, within easy reach of Praa sand Prussia cove, Marazion, St Michael's Mount, Lands End, Penzance, St Ives, Helston, Hayle and the surf beaches. Comfortable throughout the year.
The Queens Arms pub is only 100m await, which serves food and a great selection of Cask ale.
There is live music in Pubs around the area on Friday and Saturday evenings and events throughout the year.

Lovely cottage with everything you could need,

Had a great time and the cottage is lovely. Neil and Sharon were very gracious hosts and have seemingly thought of everything that visitors might need. Nicely located with amenities close by and a very nice pub just up the road. Quiet and peaceful village. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in Cornwall.

Amazing Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at Daphne Cottage with our grandchildren, daughter and son in law. The cottage is beautifully decorated, has gorgeous bed linen and towels. The cottage is in a lovely village, close to beaches with a pub which serves meals and has a childrens play area close by as well as a general store . Neil was responsive to any queries we had. We would love to stay in Neil and Sharons cottage again

Pretty good place

This is a pretty good house, close to lots of things to do. Porthleven nearby is very nice. The house was nice, no locks on the toilet doors was a bit odd. The garden was overgrown when we got there and when I asked about cutting it so our 4 year old could play they said there’s a park around the corner. It was eventually cut on the Tuesday, we arrived on the Saturday. The kitchen was very well equipped and the house very comfortable. I would have give 4 stars but for the large dog in the caravan behind, it was constantly barking which wasn’t very relaxing. Neil did ask the owner of the dog to ask it to be quite, but it still stood barking whenever there was a slight noise in the neighbourhood.

Excellent Cottage

Neil was great to deal with and the cottage is lovely. It's close to the Queens Arm Pub and the village has the true Cornish feel. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful spacious cottage, comfortable, clean and cozy with lovely decor and everything you need.

Highly recommend,, Couldn’t ask for anything more, Neil and Sharon are wonderful hosts and the cottage is beautiful, lots of lovely touches that are above and beyond expectations. The kitchen has everything you’ll need and the living area cozy. The bedrooms are lovely and Importantly the beds are very comfortable. The whole house feels fresh and new and has a contemporary but homely feel. Nice outdoor space too with outdoor dining area and bbq.

Wonderful homely cottage

We had a super time at Daphne, cottage, it exceeded our expectations, just so nice and comfortable , ,we looked forward to returning at the end of every day. We cooked in for a few nights, basics such as salt/pepper, well stacked spice rack and olive oil was provided along with teas/coffee- really nice touch. And of course the Cornish cream tea scones!! The master bedroom was very comfortable, and a great electric shower. We were very well located in Breage, with many beautiful places close by, to visit, we had a car which allowed us to travel around all of Cornwall. The local Bar, the Queen Arms was literally a few steps away, served lovely food and has a weekly quiz which we really enjoyed. We would highly recommend Daphne cottage and hope to return sometime soon...
