Phoenix on the Bay Condo 1516 in Orange Beach, Alabama. Enjoy your stay in a coastal themed penthouse condo on the top floor (5th) with a spectacular view of Terry Cove Bay and Perdido Bridge from your oversized balcony. Several updates have been made in the last few years to accommodate our guests.

New refrigerator, stove, microwave, washer, and dryer are some of the changes we have made to make your stay a vacation you will remember. Relax in the whirlpool tub in master bathroom or in one of two comfortable recliners after a busy day at the pool, beach, fishing or boating. The living room includes a queen size sofa sleeper, 2 sitting chairs and 2 recliners. The large dining room table seats 6 with 2 bar stools for additional guests. This large 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit sleeps 8 and comes stocked with a chef-ready kitchen, 3 flat screened TVs, and wall hairdryers in each full bath. Look at the great view from a large oversized balcony with table, swivel rocker chairs, and a reclining lounger. There's also a laundry room in the condo with a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.

There are so many other amenities including: a lazy river, several pools, large water slide, kiddie pool, indoor heated pool, hot tubs, a lighted tennis court and pickle ball court on the roof, a basketball hoop, grilling area, putting green, fitness center, and sauna. Alabama beaches are very close by car or boat. Lots of nearby islands are awaiting you by boat or kayak. The grounds are immaculate and beautifully landscaped with palms, tropical plants, and spectacular lighting. Sit on the docks or fish off the docks. The covered parking garage is near the condo for conveniently unloading luggage and groceries. There are great restaurants, shopping, and entertainment within a few minutes drive. *A parking pass must be purchased in lobby upon arrival for $59/vehicle (limit 2). This is required for all rental guests per Phoenix on the Bay Association and subject to change.

Phoenix on the Bay offers boat trailer parking for $10/day, if available.

Www.gulfcoastrentalco.com also has parking on Canal Road next to Dollar General. Call 251-510-7226. A boat slip may be available, if requested at time of booking. A boat launch is conveniently located on site. There is also a fish cleaning station for your use. Ice is available to buy onsite at the fish cleaning station.

Lovely condo

My children were so in love with the condo and everything it had to offer. The unit was very clean and had a great view. My only slight complaint I would have is the master mattress is very firm. Some may like it but it was to hard for me, other than that everything was perfect.

Great Week in Orange Beach

We stayed here the first week of May. The condo was very quiet, we couldn’t hear any of the other tenants. Being it wasn’t spring break, the pool was not busy, and our boys loved the indoor pool and hot tub as well. It was lovely to just float around the lazy river in the afternoon. We could have definitely stayed another few days. (And our kids want to move here!) parking was so easy, just pull into garage, drive up to floor 5 and the condo is just a few steps away. There’s a Publix and Rouses close by, and many different food options. There is a park right down the road that was perfect for our kids aged 7,5 and 1. We rented a pack and play and the primary bedroom closet was PERFECT for our 1 year old to sleep in. It was cool and very dark and allowed us to stay up well after she went to bed. We had trouble getting in the first day, but it was resolved in about an hour. Most likely a battery issue with the keypad. The washing machine was broken and we were unable to use it. Cheri gave us a refund for the inconvenience. It was a bit of a bummer since we didn’t bring enough clothes for the entire week, but we survived! The lazy river is not heated. The first few days it was cold, (assuming the weather was a bit cooler the few days before we got there) but by mid week it was much warmer. We did get stopped by security when we were at the pool the second day, because we were never given wrist bands. There are not many plastic cups, so just beware if you have littles. We would definitely return. We drove to Gulf Shores one day, and it was just too busy for us.

Wonderful Place

Great place, with nice amenities. Perfect if you are a boater. Boat Slip on site with launch. Condo was great. Had two rooms both with king beds, that’s hard to find. Roll away cots and sleeper sofa for kids. Will be back!

My husband and I have been spending our winters in Orange Beach for several years since retiring in Michigan. We love to spend our time here golfing, walking the beaches, and just enjoying the sunshine. The view on the back bay overlooking Terry Cove is spectacular. In the daytime, we can watch the boats, birds, and dolphins. While the nighttime views are just as majestic with all the lights. We hope you enjoy it here as much as we do.
