About this property
Watch the sun rise without getting out of bed!
This approx. 850sf cottage is situated 15' from mean high tide on Mussel Ridge Channel on 2.2 landscaped acres in mid-coast Maine. The cottage is a one bed, one bath with full kitchen, dining/sitting area and living room with a sofa that pulls out into a queen sized bed.
A large deck that runs the length of the cottage has a table and chairs for outside dining and adirondack chairs for watching water (a surprisingly enjoyable pastime). TV and internet available. Heron, eider ducks and eagles or osprey (depending on which one kicked the other out of the nearby nest) share the enjoyment of this location. There is also a rolling air conditioner to cool things off in the heat of the summer. Hammock and Weber grill also on site.

About the host
Hosted by Karen L. Knopper

After practicing law in NYC for a good number of years, I moved back to Detroit and now the own two pet boarding facilities in suburban Detroit. Dogs are a lot more fun than other lawyers. I started coming up to Maine in the mid-70's with a law student chum of mine whose family had a camp on Spruce Head Island.
Why they chose this property
After renting the cottage from a gentleman for two weeks every summer for several years, he asked if I wanted to buy it as he was building a 'real' house in Owls Head. The rest is history.
What makes this property unique
