We loved our stay in Poipu! Location, location, location. Perfect for a family stay. Great communication and real care from the host Chris. Thoughtfully set up, lots of extra amenities, and tons of clear signage to help us quickly get oriented to the house. This house was a spectacular place to stay for our vacation! The view of the ocean from the lanai was fabulous, we were able to watch whales breaching in the ocean from the comfort of this home! Chris was a welcoming host, very responsive to questions, and best of all, the accommodations exceeded our expectations.We enjoyed the view of the ocean from the balcony, the well-stocked beach gear room, and the quick walk to the beach.Most of us took morning and evening walks to check out the turtles on the beach. The kids rented surfboards and even took a lesson.Having stayed at other properties in Poipu, this is now our new favorite for family trips!

The family and I had a fabulous time staying in Poipu. We were fortunate to have perfect weather. The location is excellent for taking advantage of all of the shopping and eating available around the Poipu area. The off street parking is a real plus.

Overall, the property had everything we wanted during our stay in Poipu. The house was spacious, clean and stocked with all the right amenities. It was walking distance to beaches and came stocked with everything you would need at the beach. The owner was very communicative and the checkin/checkout process was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect with a quick walk to two of the best beaches (Brenneckes & Poipu). Plus the layout of the house is great (where the downstairs quarters could be completely secluded if one desires). The host was great and easy to work with. Aloha! My family moved to Kauai in 1960 and we've been part of the community ever since. I am recently retired after 25 years running my appraisal company and currently serve on the Kauai County Board of Review along with other community and volunteer programs.

Theresa and I have spent many years hiking, biking and kayaking around the island. While we love to travel, we always appreciate returning to the people and beauty of Kauai.

Why they chose this property

Our home is located on the sunny side of the island convenient to beaches with a partial ocean view yet set back and landscaped for privacy. The nearby beaches generally offer great year-round swimming and snorkeling. Coastal walks along the nearby Mahaluepu Coastline are a family favorite.

We are truly centrally located on the island, The north shore is about an hour away and the spectacular Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Park are an hour in the opposite direction. This gives you option of day trips to these beautiful areas within reasonable driving times.

I designed our beach house to be comfortable, casual and welcoming. My goal is to provide a clean, well equipped home that people will want to return to and recommend. Integrity and friendly professionalism are the foundation.
