The unspoilt village of Bantham itself is an absolute joy. With its own local pub and a well-stocked village shop, it's friendly locals are in abundance, ready to point you in the direction of the best surf, the finest cream tea or the freshest seafood.
The beach itself is a watersports paradise. Miles of golden sand, crystal clear water and incredible waves. Grab a Surf Board, Kayak or a Stand-Up Paddleboard and head on down to this pristine beach, less than five minutes walk from the house.
If a sunbathe and a good book are more your thing, the Avon estuary beach is a calmer, quieter spot for you to relax and unwind. But, whatever you choose to do - White Horses provides the ideal base to enjoy this incredible location any time of the year.

A classic shaker style kitchen with a Butlers sink, microwave and dishwasher, sits right in the heart of the house. Well equipped to an extremely high standard, it has everything you could possible need.
Breakfast around the large farmhouse table with a freshly brewed coffee and the day's newspapers. Relax on the window seat and take in the view through large picture windows. With double doors leading out into the spectacular garden overlooking the river, the sea and the mesmerising Burgh Island.
The garden is what childhood dreams are made of. A huge lawn turns easily in to a football pitch, a cricket field or simply an adventure playground! Hidden pathways, lead down to the estuary, an ideal spot for secret hideaways and den-building.
