Bayside escape!

We really enjoyed our stay! Traveled with my parents and our two toddlers. The house was very clean. The garage was full of beach items, bicycles, and ping pong table. The community pool was a bonus! The master bedroom upstairs was a treat. Beautiful views of the water from multiple areas in the home. Owner so easy to talk with. We will definately look into renting again here in the future!

Amazing Amazing Amazing

The property was everything we could ask for. Kids really enjoyed the bunk bed room and kept themselves entertained (but most of all out of trouble). We were able to use the provided chairs and wagon from the garage when we went to the beach. Fishing right outside the backyard was so convenient and at night we enjoyed family time at the fire pit. Kate is an extremely helpful host during booking and even during our stay. Our family had such a great time and will certainly come back and stay at this property.

The Perfect Vacation House

Best Family Trip

This is by far the best family trip ever. Everyone was having a great time here. Beside the beach, we spent most of the time in the house, on the dock, biking in the neighborhood. And the most fun part is crabbing right off the dock in the back of the house. Kids had a blast crabbing and kayaking. The house is super clean and has everything you need. Kitchen is fully stocked with lots of pots and pans. We love the cute plates and bowls they have. The house feels very homey. Owner Kate and Dave are super nice. We love that every light swith is labelled and the instructions for everything is all very clear. We definitely will come back again!

Everything and Then Some!

My wife and I have used VRBO, both for domestic and international stays, for several years now and Kate is the best owner we have ever had the pleasure to work with. She was very accessible and helpful before our stay answering our questions about the house, equipment, and local restaurants. She called shortly after our arrival to be sure we were comfortable and to answer any questions we might have had. The house was very nice, clean, well-maintained, and well-stocked with all the essentials and a lot of great extras like a foosball game, ping-pong table, bikes, beach toys, kayaks, etc., etc.. The home was exactly as advertised, pictured, and described. Great location and convenient to local attractions and great restaurants. This home has it all and then some!

Fabulous House

What an amazing vacation! This house has everything you could possibly want. We were a family of 6 adults and 4 kids ranging in age from 7-17. The house was perfect for us. The kids enjoyed crabbing off the dock, riding the bicycles and especially the bunk room with the game table. The owners have thought of everything. The house is decorated beautifully with modern designs yet very comfortable. The community pool was a real bonus. We could go to the beach in the morning and lounge at the pool in the late afternoon. We have rented many houses for our annual family vacation. This one was by far the best. Thanks Kate and David for sharing your house. Mary from Maryland

Perfect Family Getaway

After a wedding in Philly our family decided to book a vacation to the Delaware shore. There were 13 of us total including 9 adults and 4 kids (12, 4, 3, and 1). The house is exactly as described and everyone loved it. My 3 year old and I went kayaking most mornings and fished/crabbed off the dock which he loved. Everything is close including the beach, water park, go karts, shopping, and great restaurants. The host was extremely responsive and helped us quickly with minor issues upon arrival. The community pool and playground were a nice amenity to have. I would only point out that the crib mattress in the master bedroom upstairs is a bit flimsy so I would recommend bringing your own travel crib. We would consider booking this property again!

Home away from home!

Long story short.....LOVED IT! The location, the amenities and the homeowners are great. Having so much provided by the homeowners - kayaks, life jackets, bikes, beach chairs, cart and umbrellas, crib, pack-n-play, stroller, high chair, etc, etc etc, - is a HUGE plus since you don't have to bring any of it from home. Everything is of good, solid quality. The location is ideal; you have the quietness of a neighborhood but are only 5 minutes away from all-things beach. We loved getting up in the morning and walking out the back door for some early kayaking to take in all the wildlife right there in the bay. There are a couple of crabbing cages on the dock so we got to have some fun with the kids. Kate is so easy to work with and very accessible. They've definitely put this home together to make it not only functional, but completely comfortable. It's beautifully decorated and welcoming at the same time. We had 6 adults and 2 kids in our party and everyone had their own space but we were comfortably together. This home set the bar pretty high for future vacations but this would definitely be our go-to for Fenwick Island!! Thank you, Kate!!

Best Rental Property & Experience

I had to get my coffee ready and sit down on my laptop because I wanted to focus on giving Kate and her amazing property the attention they so deserve for this review. The house and location- If you can believe it, the pictures do not do the house justice. Every room is tastefully decorated with a lot of thought and consideration to what people may need during their stay. When you walk in you get the views from the four season indoor sitting porch which is pretty spectacular. The kitchen is well appointed and there are plenty of sitting spaces both at the kitchen island, dining room table, and sitting room which are all close enough together that you can have your own space while still enjoying conversation and company from the other areas. The living room is comfortable and there are a ton of games for all ages to enjoy. The garage is full of helpful items as well as a ping pong table that we really enjoyed! Each bedroom is a good size with some of the highlights being the master bedroom on the second floor, the bunk bed/game room, and the master bedroom on the first floor. The master on the second floor has a side sitting area with a crib and couch. The windows open up to a beautiful view, but fear not the blinds close to make things perfectly blackout dark so your little one can get a full nights sleep (trust me ours slept so well with naps and bedtime!). The bathroom is spacious so we had an easy and dare I say fun time bathing our children in the large bathtub and enjoyed our own showers with the double shower head. The game room is so fun- foosball, two sets of bunk beds, toys in the closet, tv with video games, what more could you ask for? The master on the first floor had many additional items a family staying with a child would need such as a high chair, pack n play etc. We loved the outdoor area fire pit and enjoying kayaking and relaxing outside. Our first day there was a little rainy, windy and overcast but it truly did not matter as the views were great and the house had so much to offer. The location itself is very ideal- away from the chaos of other nearby towns/beaches but close enough to everything. There are also some really amazing restaurants nearby so we definitely got our seafood fix! About Kate- the entire booking process Kate was beyond helpful, responsive, and proactive. She truly cares about your visit and does everything in her power to help you enjoy your stay. Thank you Kate!! Overall summary- just book here!
