The cottage is centrally located between the historic cities of Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Hoorn. Volendam and Zaandam are also within easy reach. Located in the beautiful garden of the former fort guard's home of Fort Benoorden Purmerend, part of the Stelling van Amsterdam. The Stelling van Amsterdam, located in the Beemsterpolder, is together with the Beemster on the UNESCO World Heritage List. All the more reason to cycle the Fortenroute and take a look in this beautiful polder.
