Hosting six bedrooms: one ground-floor super-king-size with a wet room, whilst the first-floor provides four king-sizes and a super-king-size, all of which have en-suites, sleeping a total of twelve guests. There is an open-plan kitchen/diner, a utility, sitting room and a snug area. Outside has an enclosed lawned garden and patio area with furniture. Copmanthorpe Hall is a wonderful choice for a rural break to North Yorkshire.

Loved it!

Excellent property. Would definitely stay again. Positives: very spacious, clean, in excellent repair. Kitchen very well provisioned. Comfortable beds and bathrooms. Location just a few minutes to York city center (centre?). The farm location was in no way disruptive (no bad smells or excessive noise). Negative: Sykes cottages asked for payment by telephone rather than through the VRBO site which was a little unnerving. It wasn't a scam, but had that weird feeling. Maybe that's done in the UK, but I'm not used to it. It all worked out fine.
