The Dimora del Cont'Orto terracielo

The Dimora del Cont'Orto is an independent house, a terracielo construction, which is accessed through an ancient flight of stairs. On the first floor there is a kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. The second floor is accessed via a staircase that leads to the terrace where you will find the second room with a comfortable sofa bed. The terrace is equipped with a stove and the necessary furniture for lunch and / or dinner outdoors, when temperatures allow. The guests of the room on the terrace will have to go out and go down to the first floor to use the bathroom (a short section of 1 meter). Climbing from earth to heaven, crossing the spaces of the house will be very pleasant. This house has the flavor of Sicily, Campania, Puglia, Greece and the Mediterranean and is in Abruzzo, a few steps from the sea where you will find long and wide beaches and 40 minutes from our wonderful Gran Sasso National Park. The 2 flights of stairs in the house and some steps leading to the bedroom could raise concerns for the parents of children between two and four years of age. The ancient and thick walls make the house naturally cool in the summer but for the most demanding there are still hot / cold air conditioners.
