About this property

The Pottery in Croughton

The Pottery is a 17th Century farm building converted to a high specification on our farm in the village of Croughton. Originally housing farm workers it was then for many years the village pottery hence the name. Completely self contained with lots of light, space and character including oak beams. The Pottery has its own entrance and can sleep 2 in the large upstairs bedroom and 2 on the sofa bed in the living room. There is a separate kitchen area and a bathroom with a large shower.

The Pottery is a beautiful cottage for you to relax in and is well equipped for both long and short stays, ideal for couples or small families. It is a separate building to our farm house with its own entrance and 2 steps up to the door. There is a large secure parking area right outside.
The Pottery has gas central heating and Super Fast Broadband.
The extremely spacious upstairs bedroom has a comfortable double bed with luxurious bedding.
The large downstairs living area contains a double sofa bed and dining table and chairs to seat 4. There are books, games and a smart internet only tv.
The rate is for 2 guests sharing the double bed and if 1 person uses the double bed and 1 the sofa bed there is an extra charge of £10 for using the sofa bed and bedding.
There will be an extra charge for more than 2 people staying.
A single Z-bed is available by prior arrangement. There is no cot but guests may bring their own travel cot.
The bathroom has a heated towel rail and a large double shower.
The separate kitchen has a fridge with ice compartment, kettle, toaster and microwave.
Tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk, butter and jam are provided.
Guests are welcome to use the gas barbecue and garden which leads onto paddocks with sheep and chickens and then directly onto the extensive network of walking paths around the village.
Please note we are not a working farm and the sheep and chickens are fenced off from the garden.
A well behaved dog may stay by prior arrangement and a fee of £10 per stay and we request that they are kept on a lead in the paddocks.
