About this property

Villa Levante

This charming traditional Spanish villa is located next to the Montgó mountain in the Castellans area of Javea. The large open reception room has a very comfortable lounge area next to a fireplace. There is a glazed naya, with views of the pool, with seating to relax, watch television or play cards. On the right side of this beautiful entrance hall, two steps lead to the dining area and a door to the spacious kitchen. The furniture reflects the owners' love of art and travel.

A corridor from the entrance door leads to a room with two beds and the room with two beds with an en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom and private bathroom are located in the living room or on the naya. Another bathroom is on one side of the main entrance.

The dining room doors and the naya doors open to the pool terrace, which has terraces over a living room and dining room. There is also plenty of space for sunbathing on this secluded terrace overlooking the large and attractive gardens and with wonderful views of the Jávea valley and Montgó on the other side.



This villa is located just above the old town of Jávea, with its shops, bars, restaurants and weekly market. The port, marina and El Arenal beach area are 10 minutes by car.



Advice JH: Villa Levante is located just opposite La Golondrina and only 100 metres from Casa Alba. If you are coming with family, booking two or all of them could be a good option!



**Important Information**



1) Age Policy: Groups under 25 are not allowed (except families or young guests accompanied by adults staying in the property). Non-compliant bookings may be refused check-in without refund.



2) Winter Long Stays (1 Nov – 31 Mar): Stays of 31+ nights receive a special discount but utilities (electricity, water, gas) and weekly linen changes are not included. A €500 utilities prepayment is required; extra usage will be charged and unused amounts refunded.



3) Stays over 10 days: Spanish law requires signing a Non-Habitual / Temporary Housing Rental Contract

Beautiful house in a wonderful location with a large garden. Magnificent views and a sunset spot. Thanks to Matt and his team for all questions, especially in finding a good auto garage. Mosquito nets on the windows in the bathroom and bedroom and on the door to the naya would be helpful

Wonderful house in a wonderful settin

The support from Matt and his team was excellent as always. The house is wonderfully situated in the countryside, close to Xabia and yet with sufficient distance. Ideal for walking to the market or the old town. A cassette in the fireplace would be an advantage on cooler winter days. The open fireplace doesn't really give off any heat. The random appearance of the gardeners on the terrace in front of the bedroom is not so nice. It would be good if fixed days/appointments could be arranged.

Wonderful Winter in a beautiful House

A classic Spanish home with great naya and a generous floor plan. Open and airy. Wonderful oil paintings. Stylishly furnished without being cluttered. Great garden with sunny spots into the evening hours. Two months in which we felt at home. And of course Matt and his great team who were always there for any questions immediately. Villa Levante - A Wonderful Retreat

Our stay at Villa Levante in Javea was a truly enjoyable experience. The accommodation itself was very good, offering everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping us comfortable even during the hottest days. One of the highlights was the private pool and external space, which provided a serene environment to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's , and the showers were excellent, with strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. These small touches made our stay all the more pleasant. While the villa's location is up a narrow road that can get fairly busy at times, requiring some reversing to let others pass, this was only a minor inconvenience. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful views more than made up for it. I must also commend the staff at Javea Holidays, who were excellent throughout our stay. They were responsive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. I would definitely use their services again. Overall, Villa Levante is a wonderful place to stay, and I would not hesitate to return. It offers a great blend of comfort, relaxation, and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Javea. N/A

An amazing find !

This was one of the best villas we’ve stayed in. Javea Holidays continue to be the best Villa company we’ve booked with & provide excellent villas as well as first class communication before and during your stay. The whatsapp messaging facility whilst in Javea is so helpful and their offices are beautiful and local bringing reassurance. Villa Levante is so clean, it has the rare benefit of 3 bathrooms for 3 bedrooms so everyone has their own, & the pool area is so close to the Villa / the outdoor covered seating area means you can all be close to each other whether you enjoy sun / shade or even being inside in the (very effective) air con without all being too spread out. Excellent for families with children for this reason too. The air con is as I say really efficient, only needs to be on a short while to cool everything right down. The views are beautiful peeking through the mature gardens / trees. The pool was spotless. All the furniture / furnishings and Villa as a whole very clean. Excellent large kitchen and every amenity you’d want. It’s in a peaceful location and not overlooked in any way. They even provided lots of mosquito repellent sprays and coils which was thoughtful. We were so impressed and had the best holiday here. We will definitely return to this villa. Javea itself continues to be lovely and the beach and shops / Pharmacies / supermarkets and sea front restaurants are absolutely amazing. We’ve been coming for over a decade and never leave disappointed! Perhaps a note for those booking with younger children re the swimming pool - there’s no shallow end which proved tricky for our son who couldn’t stand / swim and we had to go and get quite a lot of floatation aids to keep him safe. Also the 3rd step down into the pool is a sudden / deeper step than the others. Whilst we laughed about it we did “fall down” the step and into the pool lots of times as a result! Not a complaint but worth noting.

Es ist nun das zweite Mal, dass wir die Villas geniessen d&uumlrfen, J&aacutevea Holidays vertrauen wir! Unser Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus in J&aacutevea war rundum gelungen. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, hell, sicher und grossz&uumlgig. Besonders gefallen hat uns die sch&oumlne Umgebung, die zum Entspannen und Erkunden einl&aumldt. Das Anwesen verf&uumlgt &uumlber ein elektrisches Tor, was zus&aumltzlichen Komfort und Sicherheit bietet. Innen ist alles modern und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – man f&uumlhlt sich sofort wohl. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder! Das dritte Zimmer ist klein, evtl. sollte es dort zwei einzelne Betten haben.

L'équipement, le cadre et la disposition de la maison Internet insuffisant avec coupures fréquentes du wifi. Barbecue inutilisable archaïque, petit, rouillé à remplacer absolument par une plancha plus en accord avec le standing de la maison.

À cette fin, nous pouvons confirmer que toute la cuisine a été rénovée au cours de l'hiver 2023/24, après votre séjour, et que les chaises et les tables mentionnées ont également été remplacées. La propriété est une charmante villa espagnole authentique et nous sommes toujours en train d'améliorer les choses qui ont besoin de l'être. Les moustiques dépendent de la météo et varient d'une année sur l'autre, ce qui est malheureusement indépendant de notre volonté.

Family holiday 2022

The staff were very helpful, and the villa was clean and welcoming on arrival. The pool is very clean and well maintained during our stay. The living room area is well thought out and comfortable, and the air conditioning in the villa was essential as it was very hot in August. The kitchen is long overdue an upgrade. Seals to the kitchen windows could be improved, as we were plagued by ants on the kitchen worktops and within the cupboards, but yet we never opened a window during our stay. We were unsure how the ants were getting in. The outside sofa was saggy in the middle and made for uncomfortable seating.

Beautiful location, stylish, traditional home

Airy, comfortable and spacious accommodation with air con in all bedrooms and living area. Very comfy beds. Very nice naya overlooking pool. Kitchen a little “tired” but everything works and did not detract from a super stay.

The Villa was like being at home so comfortable and has a lovely feel to it. Traditional yet stylish so thoughtfully decorated with beautiful ornaments and art. The location is superb so private. The only down side was the amount of bugs but that can’t be helped, I would recommend plenty of bug spray and mosquito plugs. Jávea holidays were easy to deal with very friendly though they could be more responsive.
