A real home from home, Foreshore is the perfect retreat for both couples and families. Take time to relax in a comfortable sitting room, equipped with an LCD television and sofa bed. After a cosy evening in, you are only a few steps away from both bedrooms; one double and one twin, as well as the family bathroom.

Head upstairs to the bright, open-plan kitchen and dining area. Cook up a family feast in this fully equipped kitchen including an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and breakfast bar. Gather round the table and enjoy your home cooked meal whilst soaking in the charming views of the Cornish coastline.

Outside you have both an exclusive patio with beach views, as well as communal gardens and surf storage, suitable for beach equipment and wetsuits.

Aptly named, Foreshore at Fistral is only a few steps away from the iconic Newquay beach. Fistral is backed by high cliffs and sand dunes; it is the perfect place for the most experienced surfers as well as those trying it for the first time. There are plenty of places to book surf lessons or hire gear. You will also find an array of cafés, restaurants, takeaways and shops along the beach.

Next door, the hotel has an indoor swimming pool which guests are able to use (small charge paid locally) subject to availability.

Fabulous location

The property is situated right above Fristral beach with wonderful views from the kitchen/diner and very quick/easy access to the beach Kitchen is well equipped and really good shower! Bathroom gets very steamy after showering. It was rainy while we were there and downstairs had a damp feel to it. Overall great property and we would go again.

4 hours before check-in, we were informed that the key to the property had been lost and we would not be able to stay there. We were offered alternative accommodation, which then also turned out to be unavailable!! No suitable alternative could be found. So, we had to return home and unpack. I am forced to rate the cleanliness and standards of the apartment in this review, which I obviously can’t do, but I think other guests should be aware of our problems.

Brilliant location..plenty beaches to visit. Apartment provided everything you need, just few issues bed was not very comfortable and no blackout blind. I don't mind getting up early but not when the sun rises. I know its dog friendly, but I shouldn't have to sweep and hoover other peoples dog hairs. Also the seating infront of the window in the kitchen would be better if it had a comfortable sofa. We loved looking out at the sea in the evenings rather than sitting in the lounge. Overall apart from the few niggles we really enjoyed our holiday.

Property is in a perfect location. Clean and tidy with all the equipment through out for your stay. How ever there was no welcome pack and the cleaners were still there on arrival at 5pm But the price for 2022 is over the top property not worth double cost of 2021 please revaluate and will probably stay again but will not at increasing cost. Shame but enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Location - Apartment needs some TLC

Foreshore is in the absolute PERFECT location right opposite Fistral Beach and wonderful walks to the Headland. You can take your dog too! Cornwall Hideaways are an excellent company for service and communication, however the apartment has gone downhill in the past couple of years. It is very basic and lacks the 'homely' vibe. With just some added bits of furniture and furnishings it could be wonderful again. The cleanliness hasn't been up to standard on our last few visits but this has been reported to the agency.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic location.Very well equipped kitchen and everywhere was clean.We didn’t have a welcome pack upon arrival but after a phone call we had one delivered . We would definitely stay here again without hesitation P.s The sunsets were amazing x

Lovely apartment with view to die for

I stopped for a week in June and found Foreshore to be superbly equipped with all amenities being of a great standard from the shower, kitchen and Tv's. The location is perfect with only 50 yards from the steps to Fistral beach 500 yards from the lovely Pentire peninsular and a 15 min walk into Newquay town. The views from the upstairs is fantastic I could of sat looking out all day. I think the only improvement to be made would be to put a sofa infront of the widow to enjoy it in more comfort than the 2 chairs but being picky. Parking was available which is good to have as its a popular area for surfers to park day and night. Over all excellent and would gladly return. Tip Book for restaurants and even pubs in advance while still under restrictions as its nearly impossible to walk into pubs and restaurants without a booking in Newquay spoiled our holiday a bit.

Very nice apartment. Only niggle was the dishwasher which didn't seem to take the tablet and so dishes never properly cleaned. Everything else fanatstic.

A great location with great views, perfect base camp

This property is in a great location and just what we needed. Could do with a bigger bed and headboard in the main bedroom to add a little comfort. Perfect base for exploring and fab if you have a dog and love to get out in the fresh air. The Fish Bar in Newquay is amazing if you are looking for somewhere with great fresh food and fab service, also dog friendly. I would stay away from Rick Steins like the plague, awful food and service. The apartment was very well priced and has all you would need for a good weeks stay.

Stunning Location- Fistral Beach

The accommodation is tired and need of some TLC. The cleaning was odd as there were huge crumbs left on the fridge and kitchen units and most handles were sticky. Considering check in has been pushed back till the very late time of 5pm, I’m surprised it wasn’t very clean. However, the lounge overlooks the stunning beach and is a perfect location. When I rang to see if I could access the drive early (check in is the very late time of 5pm), they were very helpful- good customer service.
