Sea-view Apartment - A unique Ocean view and garden!

We would like to inform all our future guests that, due to Covid-19, our Company follows all the new Government Cleaning Protocols. In addition to this for higher health security reasons we decided to leave all our apartments free for at least 48 hours between all stays and also to treat them 2 days before any arrival with our new Ozone Generator which is 99% proven to inactivate any eventual kind of bacteria and viruses.
Blue Ocean Cottage is located in Silver Sands area in the South of the island of Barbados which includes 6 different apartments for dimensions, furniture, expositions and prices.

All of them are with dining / living / kitchen area fully furnished, bedrooms and private bathrooms. The area is surrounded by a wonderful garden rich of palm trees, vegetation and flowers, a fence and it is monitored by security video cameras. In front of the property there is also a big parking area.

The Cottage: Blue Ocean Cottage is located next to the stunning Silver Sands surfing beach at the southern tip of the beautiful tropical island of Barbados. Being the easternmost of the windward Caribbean islands, the tropical heat is always tempered by the constant gentle north-easterly Trade Winds, cutting down on mosquitoes and making Silver Sands one of the best spots in the world for windsurfing and kite surfing.

Blue Ocean Cottage provides a unique combination of fun and relaxation: suffused by the immediate beauty, peace and tranquillity of a palm-fringed surfer’s paradise; yet close to the buzz and excitement of great clubs and restaurants at nearby St Lawrence Gap.

Sea-view Apartment is perfect for wind/kite/surfers.... who wants to enjoy world-class surfing at Silver Sands beach or Silver Rock beach; lovers who want to laze on tiny unspoilt Coral white sandy beach; anyone wanting to de-stress and get fit.

Sea-view Apartment: is located at the ground floor. Overlooking wild and beautiful Silver Sands pasture where you can glimpse green monkeys and tiny Yellow Breast tropical birds. Sea-view Apartment can accommodate between 1 and 5 people.
The Location: This island is a windsurfer's and kite surfer’s Mecca. It’s one of the best windsurfing spots of the world. East and North-east winds are constant during the entire year. The incredible spot’s number aloud all levels of wind-kite-surfers to enjoy this magic place.
The water temperature is unbelievable, 26°/30° C warm and constant all year round. During the period of November and July the Trade winds start to blow constantly and between December and April the conditions are absolutely perfect with a very high percentage of constant winds mostly in January and February. The best spot is absolutely Silver Sands beach!

Great location!

Everything was great about this place. We have rented for 16 years on the island and this was our favourite spot so far. Close to Freights for surfing and Miami Beach is minutes away. The hosts were amazing and attentive to everything. Thanks guys we will see you next year

Great stay!

Love Barbados and this was a very quiet place to stay. Near Oistins and you can hear the waves from the front porch. Beaches nearby are okay but we preferred going to Miami Beach: 10 min drive at most. You’ll be happier if you rent a car (which we did and most dealerships will drop off and pickup).

Mini Paradise

Absolutely fell in love with this island. Blue Ocean Cottage was an ideal location. Close to the beach we experienced the sea breezes and it was isolated enough that we heard very little traffic. It is also close to Oisten's fish market which we took advantage of. The accommodation was very comfortable and Stefano and Elisabetta were wonderful hosts. I would definitely return.

This was our third trip to Barbados in as many years. There is only one place to stay. Blue Ocean Cottage. We love it there or here. Very clean, quiet and comfy. Stefano and Elisabetta are always helpful. The location is close to Oistens, The Gap, Bridgetowne. a short walk to Surfers pub. We have a car, but you can take a cab pretty much anywhere, for a reasonble fare.Best of both worlds on the island.We will always stay there. Nice apartment close to the sea

Unique location with easy access to frequent bus line serving the south shore. You can hear the ocean from the apartment and see it standing in the patio area. Stefano was very helpful arranging a rental car that was dropped off and picked up at the apartment and taxis to/from the apartment. Very happy with my stay in this apartment.

Amazing place with 5 star hospitality!

What a place, you dont often find such wonderful hospitality these days...We stayed at this apartment for a week In September, we were met at the airport upon arrival by Rodney the taxi driver. He was wonderful!! We did a quick stop to grab some groceries and off to the apartment. Once there we were met by Stefano and he was so gracious, helpful and kind! Right on the beach, taxis are easy and the surf bar is less than a 3 minute walk. Stefano even went as far as booking a catamaran snorkeling cruise for us so our bus driver knew exactly where to pick us up! Highly recommend that trip as well!! I could go on and on, we had fun! Low key, quiet place with lots of kindness and charm. Thank you for everything!

Accueil très chaleureux, arrivés avec nos 3 filles un dimanche fin après-midi, Elisabeth et Stefano se sont rendus disponibles allant jusqu’à nous emmener faire quelques courses pour notre premier dîner. Encore merci Eli Logement parfaitement propre, chambre spacieuse et ventilée. Une vue superbe sur l'océan pour le petit déjeuner. Toujours prêt à donner le maximum pour rendre le séjour le plus agréable possible, attentifs aux passions de chacun d'entre nous (un grand merci de la part de Charlotte qui a pu assister avec joie à la baignade matinale des chevaux de course à Bridgetown). Location possible de matériel de sport (surf, funboard...), du très bon matériel. Merci à Stefano pour les planches de surf. Superbe sortie en catamaran sur les conseils d'Eli. 10 star vacation!

This is our third time in Barbados and we keep returning to Blue Ocean Cottages. Here are just some of the reasons why you should book your stay here: 1. the owner Stefano is absolutely an amazing host. He will take such good care of you and has all the inside knowledge of island. He has directed us to some of the best surf spots and definitely puts in a lot of heart into taking care of his guests. 2. the location is IDEAL! Quiet, safe ocean-side street with a dead end so there's barely any traffic. Its only 5 minutes to Oistins for shopping, groceries, fish fry, restaurants etc..., A beach-side restaurant/cafe with fabulous food at the end of the street and most of all a gorgeous beach only steps away that never has anyone on it....you can sunbathe, walk, surf, swim, or share a nice glass of wine with your special someone watching the sunset :) 3. the accomodations: you can find nearly anything that will suit your budget or your style here without compromising quality. Each unit is unique and decorated beautifully. THE BEDS ARE SUPER COMFORTABLE! We have such good sleeps here that you will want to take the bed home with you. Each unit we have stayed in is VERY CLEAN. It shows that the place is really well looked after. The cottage is next to the ocean so a beautiful sea breeze comes through which leaves you refreshed and feeling great. There is A/C if you need it but we didn't and it was never stuffy. The gardens around are beautiful, there are tall palm and banana trees, gorgeous flowers and the opportunity to see a lot of nice birds, lizards, geckos, etc. If you have a group its perfect because everyone can be together but have their own apartments without constantly being together sharing kitchens and washrooms etc. Also the showers here are amazing. Spacious and well built!!! Very clean. 4. Overall feel: Staying at a resort has its perks..sure. but the feeling you will get from staying in this gorgeous little piece of paradise without all the numerous people will leave you feeling so rested. Its really the perfect vacation spot that has the feel of home. We always feel rested and relaxed here and most of all always welcomed and appreciated. The friendships we have formed will continue to be one of the many reasons we return to Blue Ocean every year. Thank you Stefano, Ale and Maya for yet another memorable vacation :) See you next year!!

Private paradise on a coral island in the sea

We just got home from our stay at the blue ocean cottage. My wife and I have the most amazing time ever. What a beautiful Island! Stefano was fantastic! Referred us to the most amazing excursion we have ever been on! The Island! Stefano was fantastic! Referred us to the most amazing excursion we have ever been on! The cut itself cottage itself was immaculately clean and everything we needed was right there. I would highly recommend that you plan at least 10 days on this beautiful tranquil Island and that you definitely stay at the blue Ocean cottage!! If you don't like the big hustling bustle of overcrowded over priced hotels and you like to be a little off the beaten path and get a real feel of the island, this is the place for you!!

Barbados Paradise Spot

From the start of planning and organising our vacation to Barbados, we were very luck to find Stefano!!! This was our first time in Barbados and did not know anyone. Stefano made our 3 week vacation in Barbados stressless, unbelievable and fun for our entire family (5 people). We loved it and plan to return in the future. Stefano's advice helped us find great airfare for our entire family, (which is not easy), shuttle to/from the airport, and where to go for the best beaches for surfing, kitesurfing, snorkelling, etc. Even though he was very busy building a new apartment, he alway made time to stop by to see if we needed anything. Stefano was always open and very willing to help us find what we needed being shopping, buying fish or good places to eat local Bajan food. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed during our 3 week vacation. The car, surfboards, boogie boards we rented from him was a perfect option for the family to try to learn to catch the waves. We appreciate everything Stefano did for us!! We look forward to returning to Barbados again!! THANK YOU Stefano!!

Excellent Location, all the amenities you'll need!

The Blue Ocean Cottage was clean, aesthetic and came with everything we needed, including a blender! Stefano was close by to help with whatever we needed. He arranged a shuttle to and from the airport with Mr. Rodney for a very reasonable cost, snorkeling equipment was available on site, and there was a car for us to rent...which is recommended as you'll want to tour the island. He even arranged our drivers licences! The location is quiet and just a few minutes by bike or car from Miami Beach and Oistins...gorgeous and convenient! Definitely check out the Wildlife Reserve at feeding time and be sure to try the marlin and cou-cou...delicious! We hope to visit again next year!

Super nice place super smooth management

This was our first time on Barbados where we went for surfing. We got referred to Blue Ocean Cottage by our surf instructor and we took it. Best choice. Stefano was super responsive and helpful from the minute. He even helped us finding accommodation for the first night when he was booked. Our flight was delayed and we landed at 5 in the morning, so he stayed awake to make sure we get into the apartment and he arranged transportation from the airport. He checked on us every day and he generously gave us advice on surfing, food, car-rental...everything. Best host ever! This how to do business! We stayed in the Sea-view apartment, on the first floor. The apartment is very very nice. Looks exactly like on the pictures. It is extremely clean. The house is very cute. If you need two rooms and have money stay in the big apartment on the second floor. That is awesome. The location was ideal for us. Very quite street, with see view, but everything is in waking distance. Bus stop is about 5 minutes (city is about 15 minutes thrilling bus-ride) most popular kite-surfing site is 6-7 minutes, Surfer's Bar (coolest place!!!!) where you can eat, drink, take yoga classes or just hang out is about 70 meters. So great management, very nice apartment, great location. We'll come back. Gabor+Andrea

Clean and well maintained apartment in quiet location close to kite and surfing beaches. Ocean view, cool and breezy. Fully equipped kitchen. Excellent outdoor bar and restaurant 100 down the road on water. Nice walk on path along rocky sea coast with small beach near by. Recommend renting car to visit Miami Beach 3 km away and Carlisle Bay 15 km away, and do shopping in Oistens. Stefano can organize everything you need including surf and sup boards at good price.

Great Vacation at a Great Place

We have had a very nice stay in the Blue Ocean Cottage. Our expectations set by the description were very well in line with what we found. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Stefano and Elisabetta, the managers, did a great job by helping us with arrangements and information. No matter, what we needed: a dentist on a Saturday, a Sail repair on new years eve, a rental car - no problem... We would recommend this accommodation to our friends. We have been in Barbados for Windsurfing. The Silver Sands Beach is in walking distance.

Magnificent Place; Blue Ocean Cottage!

Our 10 day stay at the Blue Ocean Cottage was Excellent. The Sea View apartment we stayed in was Wonderful, the apartment was newly renovated and everything was in pristine condition. The owners Stefano and his wife Elisabetta, were very kind, and attentive. their customer service skills were A+. We definitely recommend the Blue Ocean Cottage to anyone visiting beautiful Barbados. we loved the fact that the sea was just a few steps from our apartment. We also enjoyed swimming with the turtles which should be a (must) when visiting Barbados. Dover beach was also a great beach to visit among the many beaches that Barbados offers, as there is plenty of water sports and activities/restaurants/shops available there.

Fantastic stay

I've been at Sea-view Apartment in Blue Ocean Cottage, Silver Sands - Barbados in May 2014. The Apartment has been completely renovated, new kitchen, floors, bedroom, bathroom, patio and furnitures, which make the holiday even more enjoyable. The view of the ocean, which is just a few meters from the house completes the great set of the apartment equipped with everything you could want. We will come back in the next few years.

Very nice and clean rooms, with fantastic view of the ocean. Strategical location, the best surf and windsurf spots of the island and the bus stop for the city are just 5 minute walking. The owners, Stefano and Elisasbetta, are very TOP kindness and helpful ! Highly recommended!!!

Most relaxing spot in Barbados!!!!!

An Oasis on the most beautiful island in the Caribbean. Just like the listing. Very comfortable apartment, felt at home as soon as we got there. If you don't want to cook, the Surfers Pub is just around the corner.I have already recommended this property to my friends. Stefano and Elisabetta are fantastic, very helpful and accommodating. Comfortable ocean breezes all the time. Oistens is 5-10 min away by cab. Rodney is the best cab driver there. Ask him he knows where everything is. There are 2 small secluded beaches within waliking distances. We had a wonder time, would go back in a minute. Thank you Stefano and Elisabetta.

Why they chose this property

We are only 80 meters far from the sea, 220 meters from the beach of Silver Sands, 180 meters away from Rescue Beach, and 520 meters from Silver Rock Beach. We have also Surfer's Bay Restaurant and Pub, which is 80 meters from us. We are 7 minutes away by car from Oistins (where there is the famous Fish Market, shops, a large supermarket, bank, pharmacy, gas station, etc.) and 15 minutes from St. Lawrence Gap with great restaurants, outdoor cafés, pubs and shops. At a few minutes walk (300 meters) there is the bus stop which leads to Oistins, St. Lawrence and at the end Bridgetown; It costs one US dollar each way and the service operates from early morning until around midnight. We also have a taxi service that runs 24 hours a 24. There are also 2 mini markets in the nearby, one of which is next to the bus stop. The Airport is only 15 minutes away by car.
