ABOUT BOYNE & SURROUNDING AREAS:
Boyne Mountain is a premier four-season resort that transforms with the Michigan calendar, offering a world-class playground just steps from your door.
Winter: A Snow-Seeker’s Paradise Experience the best skiing and snowboarding in the Lower Peninsula with 60+ runs, a half-pipe, and the Top Notch Tubing Park. Whether you’re a beginner utilizing the newly expanded Small Fry Camps (ages 2-4) or an expert carving the legendary Victor Glacier, the mountain delivers.
Don't Miss: Special event weekends (like Carnival), night skiing under the lights or a visit to SkyBridge Michigan—the world’s longest timber-towered suspension bridge—now illuminated with over 200,000 twinkling lights for a breathtaking winter walk.
Off the Slopes: Enjoy free ice skating behind the Clock Tower Lodge, snowshoeing through 5km of wooded trails, or fat-tire biking on the crunchy snow.
Summer: Sun, Sand, and Adventure When the snow melts, the adventure heats up. Head to the Beach at Deer Lake for a day of sun-soaked fun.
Water Fun: Deer Lake offers kayak and paddleboard rentals, and the ridiculously fun Aqua Cycles (water trikes). Take a captain-chartered cruise on the Miss Donna for a VIP lake experience.
Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark - Year Round Fun: Michigan's largest indoor waterpark is located right in the heart of the village! Kept at a tropical 84 degrees year-round, it is the perfect "weather-proof" backup for your vacation.

About the host
Hosted by Our Boyne Home, John & Beth
We love Boyne Mountain and all that the area has to offer. We have been coming for years with our three kids and love the memories we have created here. Now that we have purchased a home here...we look forward to creating many more! Come enjoy our home and create your own memories!
Why they chose this property
Why We Chose Disciples Ridge at Boyne Mountain
When we first stepped into this home in 2017, we knew we had found something special. The Villages of Disciples Ridge offers the "Goldilocks" location of Boyne Mountain: it is peaceful and tucked away in the trees for a tranquil retreat, yet it is just a quick stroll to the energy of the Village, the lifts, and the waterpark.
A Modern Lodge Experience: Because this is our personal "home away from home," we haven't settled for "rental grade" quality. We have meticulously remodeled the space to create a pristine, airy, and upscale atmosphere. We’ve invested heavily in the details that actually matter to your sleep and comfort:
A Chef’s Kitchen: Fully remodeled and stocked for large family meals.
The Best Sleep Up North: Custom hand-crafted log beds paired with brand-new, high-end mattresses and plush spa-grade linens.
Thoughtful Luxury: From the "In-house Starbucks" coffee station to the new, log furniture, every corner was designed for relaxation.
Four Seasons of Memories We chose this neighborhood because the fun never pauses.
In Winter: We love the convenience of being "Slopeside." We can walk to the Disciples Lift in under 3 minutes, and after a day of fresh Michigan powder, there is nothing like the magic of skiing right back to our back porch for cocoa by the fire.
In Summer & Fall: The neighborhood transforms into a lush, green sanctuary. We spend mornings walking to the Village for coffee, afternoons at Deer Lake or on the golf course, and evenings watching the sunset over the mountain.
The Village Life: Having Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark, the SkyBridge, and world-class dining just a short walk away means we never have to get in the car once we arrive.
We take immense pride in being meticulous hosts. Our goal is to provide a stress-free, luxury basecamp where you can focus on making memories with the people who matter most. Come stay with us and experience why we fell in love with Boyne Mountain!

What makes this property unique
To increase bookings, the "What makes this property unique" section should focus on the specific logistical advantages for large groups. On Boyne Mountain, the "2-Kitchen" setup is a major differentiator that often gets buried in descriptions—making it a headline feature is key.
Here is a refined version of your "Unique Benefits" section:
What Makes Our Property Unique?
1. Dual-Kitchen & Triple-Level Layout Unlike standard rentals, our 2,500 sq. ft. lodge is designed for large-group harmony. Spread across three full floors, our home features two fully stocked kitchens and two separate living areas. This "dual-scale" capability is a game-changer for groups like multi-family vacations or golf retreats; one group can enjoy a quiet breakfast upstairs while another gathers for a late-night snack in the lower-level lounge without crowding.
2. Rare 5-Bedroom Capacity: Finding a 5-bedroom home on the mountain that still has comfortable living space is rare. We offer one of the high-capacity properties in Disciples Ridge that balances "togetherness space" with sleeping quarters. With 12 beds, we comfortably host up to 20 guests, making us the premier choice for family reunions and wedding groups.
3. The "Basecamp" Location Our location is the ultimate "middle of everything."
On-Mountain: You are a 3-minute walk to the lifts (no shuttle or parking lot required).
Village Access: You are steps away from Avalanche Bay, SkyBridge Michigan, and resort dining.
Northern Michigan Gateway: We are centrally located for effortless day trips—just 10 minutes to Boyne City, 20 minutes to Petoskey/Bay Harbor, and 30 minutes to Charlevoix.
4. A "Home," Not a "Hotel" Because this is our personal getaway, we have outfitted it with high-end touches you won't find in corporate-run units: hand-crafted log beds, premium "sleep-well" mattresses, a dedicated Starbucks coffee bar, and meticulous cleaning standards.
