A beautiful full refurbished 2026 chalet with a light & airy galleried lounge with stylish wood burner in the centre of living room. Each floor has a balcony offering stunning views over the ski slopes and the village of Les Gets. Whether winter skiing/boarding or summer exploring and cycling, Chalet La Penote offers space and comfort.

The chalet has 6 lovely bedrooms which have a maximum capasity of 12 adults (max and 14 with children in bedbeds).

Perfect for groups of friends, families (great for up to 3/4 families.

6 doube bedrooms with 4 being En- suite:
Top floor 3 double (one can be a twin) bedrooms en- suite and on the lower floor ; one en-suite this can all be double or twin
and a double/twin & a bunk room (can be a double bed too) .

Great for groups , large families ski, summer, cycling groups etc and super for multi generational family gatherings .

Everthing is now 2026 season : kitchen from Raison Kitche with Bosch & siemens applcance with 2 ovens, wine fridge and open plan with breakfast bar to the dinning area. Air fryer, pirrid and fondu.

Stunning feature, wood burner adds a cosy clean feel as a central areas between the dinning and lounge. The property has been completely rebuild inside in 2026.

Chalet La Penote is ideally situated on Mont Chery, the sunny side of Les Gets. Only a 3 minute walk to the nearest ski slope or jump on the ski bus which stops outside the chalet. Les Gets centre is a 5 minute drive, or a pleasent 10-15 minute walk downhill and a 20 minutes return!

Skiing in beautufil Les Gets & MT Chery (the secret of the Port du Soleil for off piste) or over to Morzine and the huge ski area of Portes du Soleil with Avoriaz, Chatel and Switzerland. There are also many other ski areas within easy reach by car, including Samoen & Flaine.

Les Gets is a very pretty Alpine town with a great selection of great bars, restaurants and shops as well as a cinema (shows English speaking films) and bowling. In the summer you are in the heart of the most exciting and perfect road and mountain biking terrain.

There is an 18 hole golf course just 5 minutes drive away and a 9 hole in Avoriaz (20 minutes away). Other activities nearby includes: para gliding, tennis, white water rafting, horse riding, canoeing, high ropes and swimming &2 padel courts in Morzine.

We offer the chalet as a smaller option outside high season weeks ‘Mini Penote' is the Half chalet which has 3 en-suite double (one double/twin option) bedroom sleeping max 6 , over 2 floors of chalet - still self contained sole occupancy - please ask for rates.

Great lodge for relaxing after a day of biking

The lodge has a great ambiance as well as being very practical. Perched on the the mountainside you are a few feet from the spectacular mountain scenery and a few feet from the town of les gets. After a day of downhill biking we became obsessed and spent most of our holiday on the bikes. There are a wealth of spectacular downhill trails suitable for all ages. However if you enter the tourist office you will be overwhelmed with the choice and variety of different activities; horse riding, rafting, paraponting, caving or lazing by the lake

Amazing chalet

An amazing chalet in a great location in the Porte du soleil..Morzine on the doorstep and Les Gets both with miles and miles of open runs. The chalet is, clean, traditional, warm very spacious and is great for large groups, familes etc. Helen and Matt are very approachabkle and I for one am going back! (in both summer and winter) Thank you guys fior a GREAT holiday.

We are a family who live in the UK and have a passion for the outdoors and mountains. We all enjoy skiing, snowboarding cycling and sharing these adventures with our children and friends. Having skied in Europe for many years we found we increasingly came back to Porte du Soleil, with its varied skiing, fantastic snow record and easy access from Geneva airport and the UK by car. Every time we stay in our chalet we find it a real struggle to leave!

Why they chose this property

We immediately fell in love with Chalet La Penote due to its location, Alpine charm and character, and its views over the valley to Les Gets. Its perfect setting on the sunny slopes provides us an ideal base for enjoying the mountains winter and summer.

In 2026 the chalet was been completely rebuild inside - right back to new insulation on the outer walls and and all new layout and new windows throughout, kitchen , bathroom etc . and new compfortable stylish furnature and beds.

A modern open kitchen with Induction hob and 2 ovens and wine fridge, stylish wood burner in the centre of the living room create a great place to eat, relax in the new sofa around the full end of the lounge area.

Stunning views of Les Gets town and the valley. Comfortable chalet with log burner and light airy living room. Quite position on the south facing sunny slopes of Mont Chery (Les Gets' secret slopes). Versatile chalet with 6 bedrooms or can 3 bedroom as half chalet available on certain dates.
