Gite/Self catering cottage- at a Loire castle domain au Chateau de la Mothaye PV

A fully renovated gite (self catering cottage) in the former caretakers house. Part of the domain belonging to a real Loire castle: domain du chateau de la Mothaye.

2-4 persons - (i.e. 2 adults and 2 children).

In the old castle-caretaker-house, 70 meter from the chateau, we created a brand new gite. Because it is next to the verger (orchard), we named it Le Petit Verger. You will spot here many animals like squirrels, birds, and even row deer. All set in forest and meadows around the house.


*** Gite Petit Verger - main room

There is a charming wood-burning-stove to keep you warm (but of course also electrical heating available in all rooms).
Or use the airco system to cool during a warm summer.
A cosy seating and a dining table is at your disposal in the main room.
Tech: here you have WIFI, a (internet) TV (with local stations) and a DVD player.


*** Gite Petit Verger - fully equiped kitchen

In the kitchen it is easy to make a delicious breakfast or diner.
"Fresh Bread service: to start the morning with fresh croissaints and bread we have in the high-season (July and August) a free fresh bread service (at costprice).
The kitchen is fully equiped: fridge / microwave / oven / Nespresso machine / dishwasher / toaster / mixer / etc.


*** Gite Petit Verger - sleeping

You have 2 sleeping rooms:
- the adult room with a double bed (160x200).
- the children room with a bunk bed (each 90x200).
Al windows in the sleeping rooms and in the bathroom has mosquito nets.


*** Calville d'août - the terraces

Around the gite you have at 3 sides large terraces with:
- a lounch seating
- a picknick table
- a dining table 4p
- a small hammock


**** about Chateau La Mothaye ****
Chateau La Mothaye is a 19th century castle, which has maintained its original character with paneled walls, open fireplaces and a grand entrance.

"entering the château is like entering a fairy tale".

Besides the B&B rooms, we also offer two gites (self catering accommodation). In the chateau suite Calville d'aout and a gite Le Petit Verger in the old castle-caretaker-house.

This beautiful 19th century Chateau, is set in the centre of 35 ha (90 acres) of secluded parkland and forest.
