Great family stay!

Seafarer is our favorite... the beach set up and distance to the beach allows for a relaxing family vacation, the heated pool (with updates, freshened up!) and hot tub allows for an alternate location if the weather isn't the best! Easy walk to The Back Porch, The Track, The Candymaker candy/ice cream shop, surf shops, and the new Parlor donuts location. Honestly, so easy to park your car for the week! They are doing a lot of exterior updates to the building, which look wonderful. This is our second year in this unit and we love the decor and two story units, with the two balconies... But you honestly couldn't go wrong with any unit due to the other conveniences mentioned.

We love Seafarer!

This is our second time staying at Seafarer and we loved this set up! It was beautifully remodeled and perfect for our family! My only question about this listing is that it said it slept 6, but the couch didn't fold out... we spent the whole week looking at the TV cabinets wondering why there was so much unused space and just saw another unit has a Murphy bed with a similar set up. Did this unit also have a Murphy bed? That would have been so helpful to know or have it shown in the pictures. Otherwise, wonderful stay and staff!

Couple things I could see changed: Downstairs bedroom has no mirror for the ladies to get ready in. This is a problem if the lower bathroom is being used and trying to get ready. Hi back seating on outside decks are nice so you can see over the railing but its getting worn and needs to be replaced. almost went through the webbing. Doorbell inoperable. But for the most part the unit is very nice and accomodating. We had to go purchase a couple things at the store that were not supplied in the kitchen, just a few small utensils.

This condo is on the beach and has two different decks that face the ocean. This is a smaller building so the private beach is not crowded at all, which when you look at the other beach spots you will understand is wonderful. There is covered parking for two vehicles and carts to assist getting things to your condo. Again, the size of the whole building is such a benefit because you do not feel crowded and access to all the amenities are easy and not crowded. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. The condo itself is comfortable, has all the conveniences and did I say just renovated. Don't let the exterior of the building (a little dated) deter you, this is an excellent property. The staff are also pleasant, professional and helpfu.

The only issue, and it was a significant problem, was the couch and chairs in the living room. Both were extremely uncomfortable and that made it impossible to sit and relax.

One thing I look for when staying on beach side, Is the outdoor furniture nice. I spend a lot of time on each of the balconies and love the New Style Tall Back furniture that allows me to look over the balcony and see the beautiful emerald coast waters. TV's were overkill as far as size. The Decor was amazing in this unit and would stay here again.

Perfect Escape

This was our first time to Destin, and we will definitely return. We are last minute travelers, and VRBO is yet to disappoint. The condo was better than expected, recently remodeled. Everyone was friendly. Food was delish! Beach, gulf, and weather were perfect. 5 stars. Thanks!
