Fabulous views from the apartment and close to all amenities (shops, bars, supermarket etc) A good selection of eateries and takeaways. Lots of excellent walks along the coast and beach. The funicular offers a helpful lift back up from the seafront to the town when you have tired legs! An excellent weeks holiday and we will return!

We spent a couple of nights in this stylish apartment. We loved the lounge area with the wall of books and my grand daughter was very pleased to find her own small comfy chair. There were games a plenty and DVDs to watch on an evening. Disappointed with the damp wall in the second bedroom, also the kitchen bin has seen better days. Impressed with the appliances in the kitchen, more detailed instructions for the hob would have been useful. If the sun had been shining, we were there the start of November, I would have appreciated a cleaner outdoor space and furniture. We loved staying here and felt at home straight away.
Had you updated your website this email would not have been sent. Both yourselves and holiday cottages were not contactable by phone shortly after the booking was made due to the payment not going through at the time. I wasn't prepared to make a further payment due to no contact, Holiday cottages cancelled the booking

The views from inside and outside The Terrace are stunning - uninterrupted view to Huncliff and the sea. It was fantastic seeing the changing colours of the landscape as the sun moved throughout the day. The apartment was well equipped - lots of kitchen equipment and utensils for cooking, plenty of crockery and cutlery and a dishwasher. Useful having the two toilets and the bathrooms were modern and clean. The location of the apartment is fantastic - all the shops, restaurants and cafes are on your doorstep. A short walk to the beach, easy access to Valley nature reserve and the Cleveland way. There are lots of lovely walks to do from the apartment.A couple of things for people to consider. We were lucky to have a sunny week in Saltburn. The apartment has full length french windows which means you cannot open them at night for security reasons - the terrace is accessible from the street so anyone could walk into the apartment if the windows are left open. This meant we were extremely hot in the bedrooms. We did ask Cottages.com for two fans but they said we would need to buy our own. I think it would be useful for these to be provided in the apartment. The other thing to bear in mind if you are a light sleeper, like me is that there is some road noise (I wore ear plugs) and also none of the curtains are black out curtains, so the main bedroom especially is very light once the sun comes up. Take eye shades if you cannot sleep with a light room.
