About this property

Vraskos Villa with stunning views

The villa enjoys a unique location with breathtaking views and stands on a spacious private plot offering privacy, as it is fully enclosed by a stone wall and metal fencing. The rural setting provides tranquility & relaxation. A small pebble beach can be reached after a short walk through a wild stony pathway.

Luxury house of 140 sqm in three levels. There are 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, living room, dining area, gym room, infinity heated pool, air-conditions, TV, Internet Wi-Fi, BBQ, veranda, parking on site. Linen, towels and pool/beach towels are provided, cleaning service every 3-4 days. Also beach equipment is provided such as sun umbrellas and beach towels.

LAYOUT OF THE VILLA

GROUND FLOOR
On the ground floor at pool level there are two bedrooms with double size and king size beds and en-suite bathrooms. Both bedrooms have spectacular sea and mountain views.
On the same level there is the living room and the open plan fully equipped kitchen. Fridge - refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, espresso coffee machine, dishes & utensils are included. The dining area is at the same area too.

UPPER LEVEL
In the upper level above the kitchen area there is the third open plan bedroom with a sofa that can also work as a double bed. At the same area there is also the third en-suite bathroom. The views to the pool and to the sea are amazing.

LOWER LEVEL
At the lower level there is another room with the gym equipments. There are two windows with beautiful view to the outdoor stairs that leads to the ground level. At this level there is also the laundry area.

OUTDOOR AREA
At the outdoor area there is a 40m2 infinity pool with a kid's area, offering a unique experience of swimming while gazing at the amazing sea view. Sit back in the comfortable sun loungers and relax under the sun. Also there is a shaded dining area and a large BBQ area with magnificent views both to the mountains and the sea.

Access to a pebble beach, nestled at the mouth of a quaint, narrow gorge, is provided. The sea bottom is quite rocky and has sand in places. From our villa there is a wild stony pathway that is off property limits and leads to this isolated beach.

The villa is perfect, the view is spectacular, it's private and secluded. It is about 25 min walk on foot to the village (uphill but fine for average fit ppl). Kitchen is very well stocked for cooking/bbq. It was nice to have plenty of dishwasher tablets and the laundry gel. Car is recommended, taxis are quite pricey in the area. We were able to enjoy "our" beach on 4 days out of 7 when the sea was calm, on other days there was too much surf so we didn't risk it. There are also some public beaches close by. It should be noted that one of the 3 bedrooms has less privacy than others as it is in the mezzanine of the open plan space. This was not a problem for us though. Maria is super helpful with the local recommendations and was checking with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you very much.

Amazing villa!!

Absolutely amazing. Zero complaints. The house was wonderful. The location is gorgeous ... the views from the house are truly inspiring. We had the seclusion we were looking for while still having access to a grocery store only a few minutes drive, and it was a great launching point for exploring the western end of the island. Semi-private access to the cove was a super perk. I snorkeled every morning and it was as good or better than every other location I snorkeled on the island. Maria, the property manager, is a superstar. She was super helpful to us in planning our explorations, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we could want in our stay (yoga mats, power converters, local spinach pies!!, etc, etc). Thank you, Maria!

Sollte es einem doch an etwas fehlen, so kann man jederzeit sich an Maria wenden und einem wird umgehend mit tipps und Insiderwissen geholfen. Alles ist sehr sauber und bestens gepflegt. Très belle villa avec une vue incroyable. Piscine très agréable. Voiture indispensable. 2 vraies chambres avec toilettes et douche. Une autre chambre en mezzanine ouverte sur le séjour avec petite salle d'eau et WC. Salle de sport très appréciable car il fait tres chaud. Maria a répondu à toutes nos attentes, toujours disponible. Elle a réservé plusieurs restaurants et nous a trouvé un professeur de yoga. Le propriétaire est très gentil, nous offrant oranges, huile d'olive et œufs de sa production. Personnel de ménage efficace et discret. Maison très propre. Nous avons trouvé le cadre et calme que nous recherchions. Vacances parfaites grâce à cette villa.

Truly Spectacular in every way.

Where to start with Villa Vraskos.. sensational. We have stayed in a number of villas in Greece on different islands and Villa Vraskos was certainly the best, as was Maria the property manager. The views are incredible, location Is convenient and the property is well equipped. The private beach is an experience in itself walking through the wild path to reach it. If you like to snorkel this is a great base. Nothing was too much trouble for Maria, she organised a birthday cake and decorations for our son, sourced us the best tables at the best restaurants and was a delight to deal with. If you are considering Crete as a holiday destination do not hesitate to book Vraskos Villa you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic family vacation

My family and I stayed at Villa Vraskos, and had an amazing stay. The Villa is gorgeous, and the pictures do not lie - beautiful layout with amazing sea view and great pool. Location was off the beaten track, but close to Chania, Kalyves, Almyrida and we had a great time at those more low key but beautiful beaches. The best part of our stay was Maria, our personal concierge, who organized everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible, like lunch and dinner reservations, tips for sightseeing, organizing our sailing trips, massages and personal cook. She was super attentive, and made our vacation so much more enjoyable and amazing. Highly recommend Villa Vraskos for your vacation in a fantastic design villa!
