Ocean views from 2 decks, steps away from the beach, kid friendly, wifi

Welcome to your home away from home with great beach views and lots of amenities. The house is less than a 2 minute walk to the beach straight down from the house. For those times you don't even want to walk down, you can enjoy a view of the water from either the front or the back deck. Enjoy the sunrise on the back deck, or watch the sun set from the covered front deck, both with tables for dining and chairs for lounging. There is a baby gate at the top of the stairs and the deck wraps 3/4 around the house, so you can let your kids run free. The roomy master bedroom suite has a king bed, Dish TV, and a huge walk in shower with dual shower heads, and dual vanities. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, including a waffle maker, blender, Keurig coffee maker and an oversized pot for that big shrimp boil night! You can seat 3 at the kitchen island and 8 can comfortably eat at the dining room table. The living room has a 55" large screen HDTV, surround sound Blu-ray/DVD with HDMI input, and Dish TV. Wi-fi is included at no extra charge, so if you absolutely have to work on vacation, you can.
The second bedroom has a Queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom has a full size bed with twin loft and twin trundle. All the beds except the twins have comfortable pillowtop mattresses. The twins have gel cooled memory foam mattress for comfort and all beds have luxurious bamboo sheets. A pack n' play and 2 portable toddler cots are available as well. Linens are included, but please bring your own beach towels.
Downstairs has a big shower area, including hot water, so you can shower, change, and dry off before having to go inside the cold a/c area. There is also a sink and counter fish wash downstairs for all those fish you catch! Enjoy a meal on the big picnic table, relax in the swing, or nap in the hammock during those hot afternoon hours! Come, relax, and enjoy some time away! Golf cart rentals are available close by and we can provide you contacts if you need them.
***Family rentals please. We do not rent to fraternity, sorority, college groups. No smoking products of any kind, including e-cig/vapor.

Great Beach House!

Great location and very clean! There was just enough space for everyone. The house is the 4rth house from the beach. Walking distance wasn’t too long for small kids and parents. Loved that there was an ice machine. The front and back deck was a plus! Highly recommend for anyone to stay here!

Great home with 2 covered porches with ocean views for chasing the shade in the Texan Summers. Pictures don’t do just to home. It was super clean, the A/C works great and the showers have good water pressure! Couldn’t ask for a better stay! Thanks again for the hospitality!!

Great vacation!!

We absolutely love this house. If I'm remembering right I think this was our sixth time and we are coming back next month. Only suggestions I have is the carpet in the master bedroom is very dirty and as long as we have been staying there we cannot use the TV in the second bedroom. I'm pretty sure it's a missing remote.

CLEAN and wonderfully welcoming cool AC

Stepped into lovely cooled home upon opening the door. Perfect respite from hauling luggage and groceries from outside Texas summer afternoon heat! Large porches, front and back, could see ocean from back porch and watched purple Martins gorge on mosquitoes from front porch. Comfortable beds, furniture. Appreciated not having to clean everything before leaving- just general tidying and start towels and DW.

Great house

This is a great house that’s a short walk to the beach. The owner was flexible on checkout time which was appreciated. There was a table in the bunk bed room that made the trundle which we planned to use unusable. Also, there was no toilet paper which created a bit of a problem and no kitchen towels but that was a minor inconvenience as there were plenty of bath towels. We would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding Beach Getaway

We had a lovely experience and stay here! The property is well appointed, tastefully decorated and rooms are great sized. The AC works fantastic. The outdoor space was great as well; only recommendation is they can use a new charcoal grill - it’s small and the salt water hasn’t done it any favors but it did work fine. I would also have loved a later check out time such as by 12 v 10, but that’s just a personal preference. Overall 5-STAR!!

Winter at the Beach

We enjoyed our brief (2 nights) stay. Great location and pretty house. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Nice, "beachy" decor. Lots of outdoor seating. The instructions say to bring extra paper goods (which we thankfully did) because neither bathroom had any toilet paper. Maybe housekeeping could be instructed to leave one roll there? That's a very little thing -- just thought I mention it. Otherwise, a wonderful experience. Thank you!

The home was wonderful. My only complaint would be the internet and cable. The tv in the master bedroom was the only one that had decent reception. The other two bedrooms had tvs but couldn't get any channels. Might as well take them out of the rooms. Tv in the living room had minimal service, one channel that had terrible reception. However you go to the beach to be on the beach... We enjoyed our stay.
