Lovely stay in the countryside, very close to Leeds Castle
Very friendly owners, lovely surroundings for hiking the countryside, very clean and an excellent bed, I slept like a log all of the 5 nights we stayed!
Our second stay at Oak cottage, great accommodation and management. It’s a wonderful location for walks on the pilgrims way and day trips to Dover, Whitstable and Canterbury.
Linda and her husband were super nice and my 85 year old mum loved the homely feel of willow cottage - it was just perfect for us
We had such fun with the alpacas

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and it was a pleasure to have the children help feed the animals.
Brought our two dogs to the cottage and had a lovely time, the hosts were kind and helpful, provided us with lots in the stay, lots of fresh dairy groceries and amenities for the dogs too. Would 100% recommend.

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay, It was to host you all.
We enjoyed it very much. Because of the large garden it was possible to play football and badminton. I like to mention also that the railway station is not far away from the cottage. Therefore we could reach London easily.
We were taking my 82 year old mother away for her birthday . She is fit and healthy but everything about the place made the stay more special . The gifts left were so wonderful - bread , milk, home made cakes and fresh eggs . My highlight was Bam Bam the sheep.

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay, Willow is very good for older guests and the disabled alike being on one level and having a wet room. Happy that you enjoyed the home bakes, it's always nice to be able to have a cuppa and cake after a long drive. Our Bam Bam is such a bonus to have outside the cottage.
Myself and my dog Willow stayed in Willow cottage for 3 nights. From booking to arriving at the cottage it was perfect! Willow cottage is beautiful and had everything we needed for our short break. When we arrived our host had provided bread, milk, bacon and eggs from their chickens. The location was beautiful and so peaceful it was just what we needed. I highly recommend staying here. It was so lovely to be invited to help feed the alpacas and the other animals as well. The cottage is decorated and finished to a very high standard. It was just lovely.

Hi Vicki
We are over the moon that you all enjoyed your stay so much, it is very nice to read.
The animals definitely add a little something more to the stay with their cheeky characters.
Great location for accessing Leeds Castle. Nice size accommodation for family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children). Fun to have animals onsite, kids particularly enjoyed the llamas. Property lovely & clean, and well equipped.
Great week away to explore the area. Dog friendly so was ideal for our family and 6 month old puppy. Very accommodating owners made us all welcome. Great place to stay for quiet stay

We like the country life with all our animals, which do make us laugh a lot with their silly ways, and I feel so lucky to get up every morning and have the views of the North downs. It's nice to have friends and guest enjoy it as much as myself and my husband, Mick.
Why they chose this property
My husband's parents bought the property, to get out of London. They fancied a bit of the good life. I moved here about 7 years ago after meeting Mick on a building site in 2000. At first I found it rather remote from the town life, but to be honest we are very central for many things, Dover, London, beautiful coast lines, Canterbury and even a pizza delivery service which we never had when I first moved here.
What makes this property unique
The fantastic views of the North downs from the cottages and the abundant wildlife you can watch from the comfort of your patio area or take a stroll up the garden and feed the chickens, ducks and geese, Bubble and Squeak our Alpacas love a piece of apple. We supply for your first morning eggs from our own generous chickens, bread, butter and milk. There is also tea, coffee & milk. Well behaved pets are very welcome.
