Little hide away

Very well equipped and clean towels and bedding disappointingly poor but did not spoil our stay. On the whole a very quiet stay considering the location. Gate now on garden made you feel more secure and the dog loved it although not being able to get in when we arrived as manager was unaware of its existence and the code to get in was not amusing after a 5hour journey.

Disappointing

Pros: Easy check in Decent sized property for a short stay Close to all attractions and seafront Refund of one night processed as requested due to lack of beds on second night. Replacement of mattresses was prompt. Cons: Nosey, cannabis smoking neighbours (all my family witnessed this at our family lunch) Cobwebs in both living areas Cutlery and pans greasy on arrival Sofa bed mattress was moldy and soaked with urine on the underside (not checked prior to our arrival) Sofabed v uncomfortable (hence finding the wet underside of the mattress when we moved it to sleep on the floor Property owner sympathetic but busy on holiday Property manager argumentative Accidental damage to outside table met with extortionate request of £100 to replace it (whole set can be purchased for £140) Complaints about pet hair after we had cleaned AND paid for being able to bring a pet. No back gate - not great for pets or small children. Just really disappointed. Make up your own minds whether to stay here. The property was not cleaned or checked adequately before we arrived and that's not the owner's fault. It's a nice property. Owner being let down by management.

Lovely home from home and wonderful host

Thank you Martine for a lovely stay. The flat was immaculate and cosy, a perfect home from home we didn't want to leave! Also very convenient for both the beach and town and shops, everywhere within comfortable walking distance. Communication during booking was also greatly appreciated and very reassuring especially during the current circumstances. Can't recommend highly enough. Anna and Jeff
