Located on the banks of the Orange River, Verandah is a 1,456-acre master-planned community. Nearly two thirds of Verandah has been set aside as open space including nine miles of trails, natural preserve areas, parks, wetlands, lakes and 2 golf courses.

Lovely home in paradise

This home in Verandah has great views of the lake and abundant sunshine throughout the home. The owners are attentive and have provided everything to make your stay enjoyable.

We are Brits, living in the USA who love Florida. Work and travel keeps us away from here for long periods of time so we wanted to share our lovely home. We can't wait till we have more time here but in the meantime we think you'll find our community to be very friendly and comfortable and we hope you'll feel right at home. We are pleased to say we have lovely neighbours, it is very quiet here, restful and beautiful at every turn. Amazing wildlife and sunsets. Alligators, Armadillos, Ospreys visit

Set in 125 acres of wetlands, 1,000 acres of glorious open spaces with 8 miles of nature trails for walking or cycling, and two private championship 18-hole golf courses: Old Orange designed by Bob Cupp and Whispering Oaks was designed by Jack Nicklaus
Sweetwater Landing, a public marina with deepwater boat access is only minutes away. It can accommodate wet storage boats up to 100 feet and dry storage for craft up to 30 feet. The Boathouse and Tiki Bar and Grill is now open and is worth a visit.

Verandah Plaza is right next door!! Publix, Walgreens, restaurants, salons, bank, Gas station, Doctors Offices and laundry.
Historic downtown Ft. Myers - the River District, is just 15 minutes away and is a must to explore... cafes, , gourmet restaurants, monthly art and music walks, charming boutiques, festivals and performing arts halls.
