About this property

House on the beach, Normandie, Côte des Isles

House on the beach, for 6 people

Located in Denneville-Plage (Manche), 400m from the beach (5 minutes by foot), settled in a 600m² closed garden.

The house is delivering all comfort and commodities in order to appreciate your stay in Normandie.

We are looking for the well being of our hosts, and are listening to them to improve their comfort.


EQUIPMENT :
On the ground floor, living, kitchen with all equipments : dish washer, washing machine, oven, micro wave oven, and all small electrical devices necessary, WIFI, TV.

Big cooking pots to cook shellfish, knives to open oysters, in order to appreciate local producted sea food (oyster producer in the village).

Bathroom & WC separated.

2 rooms in the upper stage (1 room with a double bed, 1 room with 1 double bed and 2 simple beds).

Cupboards integrated in each room. We can host young children, with high chair, travel cot, booster.
You will find also an hair dryer, an iron and ironing table.

OUTSIDE :
You will benefit from a terrace West oriented, where you will appreciate your meals, 2 sun baths, beach umbrella, BBQ set.



ADDED VALUE :
We provide you a set of adults & children bicycles for bike rides on the country side and to go to the baker's & greengrocer's (5 minutes during summer period)

A green way reserved for bikers has been set up, between PortBail & Carentan, thru La Haye.

You will also find board games to play with your family.



AROUND the House:
Denneville is providing a magnifical fine sand beach, amazing sunsets, still with a wild character with dunes, havens, allowing you to perform nautical activities, walk fishing by high tides, with oysters production park to visit.

In front of Anglo-Norman islands (Jersey, Guernsey, Sarcq), 20 minutes from Barneville-carteret, 15 minutes from La Haye, 5 minutes from PortBail.

45 minutes from Cherbourg and his "Cité de la Mer" (aquariums and Le Redoutable military submarine), 1 hour from Granville, 1h45 from Mont-Saint-Michel.

Miscelleneous activities : Golf in Barneville (15 minutes), hiking on littoral path (GR223), Tennis court in the camping of Denneville, sailing club & school in PortBail.

Other activities : Cheese producer Réo (camembert) 20 minutes, Maison du biscuit 20 minutes, Churchs & middle ages baptistry, Pirou castle 30 minutes, Bayeux tapestry 1h00, Carentan swamps 45 minutes ...

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par notre hôte qui a été à l écoute pendant de notre sejour. Dans une belle maison, proche de la mer, avec tout le nécessaire. On n'a plus qu'à poser nos valises et profitez des vacances. On y retournera certainement.

Chouette séjour de 15 jours fin Aout, le coin est très sympa, la plage proche, Port-Bail pas très loin et la possibilité de visiter pleins d'autres endroits du Cotentin à 1h max. Petite maison très mignonne et confortable. Une bonne expérience.

Schwierige Kommunikation

Ein sehr schönes Haus und super Lage gerade auch mit Hund. Eine schöne Umgebung. Leider war mit der Haus Übergabe sehr schwierig. Sie spricht nur Französisch. Einige Dreck Weben an der Decke. Die Sauberkeit ging so. Es wurde vergessen wieviel Kaution bezahlt wurde, bei der Rückgabe hatte sie nicht genug Geld dabei um die Kaution komplett zurück zu zahlen.

Absolut angenehme Unterkunft

Der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten fußläufig erreichbar, die Lage wunderbar ruhig. Bei der Einrichtung merkt man, dass hier regelmäßig die Eigentümerfamilie samt Kindern lebt – die Küche etwa ist sehr üppig ausgestattet. Dafür nimmt man gerne in Kauf, dass auch einige Dinge rumstehen, die man nicht gebraucht hätte. Gerne wieder!
