Everything we could have wished for. A perfect cliff top location overlooking the Bay. Although only 5 minutes from St Martin it felt we were in the middle of the countryside . Host was helpful and cottage perfect.
It was quiet and relaxing. We were able to watch the fog roll in and enjoyed the hummingbirds and garden. Being so perfectly located we were able to enjoy St Martins and the Bay of Fundy trail hikes as well as easily make day trips to other locations to enjoy multiple New Brunswick offerings.
Quiet little town when we were there. Nice little cottage. Wildlife in the backyard, good views of the bay. Hiking trails need marked, made it to the top of the cliff but if there’s a way down I didn’t find it. Wood stove warms the house nicely & it stays warm. Water pressure leaves room to be desired but everything else was very nice.

I always appreciate the review and feedback from my guests and use it to improve the property for future guests. However, the cottage is advertised as a quiet natural retreat near a small fishing village. Except for a pub, a bar, many beaches and some restaurants, most of the attractions are natural including the spectacular and world renown Fundy Trail. Star gazing, bird watching, and exploring 15 acres of property is all part of the experience!
The location is incredible, overlooking the Bay of Fundy, we even saw harbor porpoises. It was so quiet that we sat on the back porch for hours without hearing an airplane or even that many cars. The wild flowers and birds were so plentiful around the fields. The walking paths are well maintained and so nice for an evening walk. The area around the cottage has many nice restaurants and small shops. We picked up everything we needed either from the farmers market, or from the grocer. Up the road is the Fundy Parkway that has views that are beautiful. All in all, just a relaxing, slowed down, throughly enjoyable week.
Emplacement fantastique.
If you are looking for a luxury vacation, this place is not for you. But if your looking to get away from it all with an abundance of natural beauty all around you, you found it! Cute and rustic with a wonderful attentive host, we loved our stay here and will be back!
I loved our stay at this cottage! It really felt like our home near the ocean!! It was better than we had even hoped!

Would not rent or recommend this property in the future.
The first impression was poor. The municipal address was not on the mailbox so we kept looking for the correct address. The cottage is a renovation in progress. The actual cottage is very dark, if you did not switch on the fluorescent lights. The lamps that were provided were equipped with low wattage bulbs and the harps were bent so the lamp shades did not sit properly. The automatic coffee maker was very dirty and there were no filters. the pot belly fireplace was very dusty. the couches had very
saggy springs and one couch was so old it looked like it had a fungus on it. The bathroom shower was excellent, but the sink was ridiculously small . A very good washing machine. and closthesline. There were some very interesting antiques. Even with windows opened, there was a very strong smokey smell. I definitely would not go back and would not recommend this cottage to anyone. It is too bad because the view is spectacular.

Séjour agréable
La propriétaire Jennifer est sympathique et elle a fait des gestes de bonne attention. c’est un chalet!!!! Endroit Très tranquille et très belle vue sur la baie de fundy !!! Laurence
Great place to get away from it all.
Things to know, there is a coffee maker, coffee grinder, tea pot and kettle, no tv.
Nice clean bathroom and shower, drinking water from the taps.
The place is rustic and charming. Great trails and beaches nearby
Beds are one queen and two twins.
Host is lovely and easy to communicate with.
Very nice location for those looking for seclusion and hiking trails. Great livi1ng space with wood stove for cosiness. Little garden which guests can enjoy the bounty of, if so desired. Large wrap around enclosed porch with plenty of Windows, to allow lots of sea fresh air ! Could have been a lot cleaner
We enjoyed our stay at the cute cabin! It was close to beaches and the national park.
Our dogs loved the property and the cabin kept us safe and warm during the hurricane. Even though we lost power, we were able to keep ourselves busy with cards and board games. Wonderful experience!!
The first thing you smell when you walk in the house is wood. It immediately tells you that you're on vacation! The sun coming up over the Bay, the fog horn sounded distant and there was something soothing about waking up and hearing it. We tend to pack a lot of activity into vacations but it was great to spend the downtime we did have here.
Great place for peace and quiet. Is on the ocean but no direct access to ocean. Also no television for rainy days and nights to watch a movie. Very quiet country place. Overall good. Close to a lot of scenic places and drives.

There is a meandering path from the bottom of the property to the ocean.
Thank you Jennifer for your hospitality. Your cottage overlooking the Fundy Bay was a perfect getaway for us and our dogs.
The cottage was fully stocked with everything we needed and there was plenty of space. It is set back enough from the main road that we had lots of privacy and room for our dogs to run.
We would have found a microwave handy but we managed fine without it. Also we weren’t sure about recycling rules in St. Martins but would have loved to see recycling bins for all of our refuse. 😊
We go to St. Martins every summer and we would absolutely rent this place again. Cheers!
We were travelling with our Jack Russel terrier and wanted the rental for her as well. The property was private, with a beautiful view. The porch was perfect for us and the dog - we spent hours out there. The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom updated. Overall, we would highly recommend this property to anyone, especially with those wanting a pet holiday too!

Wonderful little Gem
We stayed here in early July 2018. The cabin is a cute rustic place to stay, easy to get too, beautiful views and cozy. The owner is doing some renos, so there is now a nice closed in porch (not pictured) its great if it was raining or wanting to play cards away from bugs at night, but still feel the cool breeze and hear the Bay. The beds and pillows are comfortable, it has just about everything you need for a comfortable stay. The village is welcoming, everyone is nice and friendly, the general merchant has most of the groceries you will need and fresh coffee from a brewhouse in St. John (you may need this info as the cabin doesn't have a coffee maker or kettle, if driving you may want to bring your own) There are bicycles to use as well, my husband loved that! The beach is a quick drive to get too or if you are adventurous you may climb down to the beach from the cabins trail. Bring water shoes :)
We would love to return here again and would definitely recommend a stay here. We'd also like to thank Jen the owner for the fresh bread and eggs that were waiting for us when we arrived, it was so kind of you and hit the spot after a long trip.

Loved it
The view, the wildness, the peace from the world were perfect. Great little walks on the property and down to the water through the woods. The Fundy trail is only 5 kms away with all of its trails and hikes. The host is a fund of knowledge of other beaches etc and very generous of her time. The MAGIC of the Bay is magnificent.
