Watch the waves crash on the beach from your bed
We were originally booked into another property but moved to SeaEsta after a problem with our original booking. SeaEsta is lovely. Well appointed with nice personal touches. There is a small rear garden for pet needs. There is a great ground floor garage facility that will take two medium sized cars. My large SUV just fitted in. The first floor open plan living space is great for a family. Balconies on all floors look out to the beach and sea. The two front bedrooms also have full length bifold doors that give you a view of the sea from your bed if you so desire. There is a wide range of walks from the door from a mile or two to six or eight miles. With at least two great pubs and restaurants too there is no real need to manoeuvre the car out of that garage all week if you don’t want to. Could not recommend it more strongly.

Fabulous house highly recommended
SeaEsta was a fabulous property perfect for a family holiday - we would definitely return. It’s obvious the owners had gone to trouble to make it comfortable and luxurious. The beds were comfortable and balcony views from the bedroom a lovely experience. We loved the warm outside shower and tap in the courtyard at the back. The garage space was brilliant for unloading and storing beach equipment and the hangers for wetsuits so useful. We loved the instant hot water tap in the kitchen and the American fridge freezer was perfect. Proximity to the beach made it possible to pop back and grab something or make a picnic. The kitchen was really well equipped with almost everything we needed although we couldn’t find any oven gloves during our stay and one of us was burnt as a result. A couple of pizza trays would have been useful. We would have found a full length mirror useful as the mirrors in the bedroom were small and hung quite high. The miniature toileteries were generous larger refillables are better for the environment. A couple of issues with the letting agents/housekeeper: I emailed requesting one bedroom to be made up as a twin and I never had a response and the bedroom was made up as a king when we arrived. We split the bed up ourselves but in doing so we found other people’s dirty tissues and dust under the bed. We noticed that other furniture in the house had not been moved for cleaning including bedside tables. We cleaned ourselves as soon as we arrived as a covid precaution and found surfaces such as staircase hand rails to be quite dirty. Arrival instructions were poor which made the arrival stressful. We were given a code for the pedestrian gate (which is actually never locked) but no information to prepare us for the car entrance gate making our arrival very stressful as the car was stuck blocking the road on a steep hill. It would have been helpful to explain we needed to park the car and enter the property to get the remote control for the electric gate and to pre-warn us that the car needed to be stored in the garage at all times. We didn’t use the luxurious barbecue on the balcony because it was very dirty when we arrived and it would have taken too long to clean. We found the tiny welcome pack of washing up liquid etc stingy for such a luxury property. We have a holiday let ourselves and provide full size cleaning products/kitchen roll etc. It is also more Eco friendly to provide larger sizes.

2 family holiday
Great spot next to the beach. Well furnished and a good base for the week. The master bedroom at the top of the house could do with blinds on the top windows as it difficult to sleep in after sun rise Separate tumble dryer would be helpful as current washer/ dryer not that efficient and back yard does not get any sun to dry clothes / swim wear well Parking in the garage is incredibly tight and required military precision to get two large cars parked.

Family Holiday Portreath
We had a lovely week at SeaEsta beginning of July. The house was amazing. There were 7 of us & there was plenty of room for all in the lounge dinner. There was every gadget you could wish for in the kitchen. The house is right on the beach & the views are spectacular. The bedrooms were all of a good size & 3 out of the 4 were ensuite. The only disappointment was that the bathroom the 4th bedroom had to use did not have a shower only a bath, so the people in that room had to use the other bedrooms ensuites to shower. We will definitely be coming back to SeaEsta in the future.

Home from home
This property is in a great location, was light and spacious and everyone immediately felt very at home. The house had everything that we needed and a common comment was how comfortable the beds were. A maintenance issue was sorted promptly.
