Villa Moncodogno with private pool

This beautiful holiday house is located not far from the Old Town of Rovinj. During the construction of this house, natural products, stone and wood were used, and the original Istrian architecture was maintained. The Villa Has a private pool. On the ground floor there are three bedrooms, and in the basement there is a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. The peaceful surroundings of the house will provide you with a relaxing holiday. On the large, enclosed land you will come across various Mediterranean plants, as well as several interesting details, such as a copy of 'Kažun' - (a circular field shelter made of stone in a dry stone wall), and an artificial pond. On the terrace you can drink your morning coffee in peace surrounded by fragrant lavender and enjoy the view of beautiful nature. We recommend that you visit the city of Rovinj, the pearl of the Adriatic, with its romantic streets and experience an exciting nightlife.

Die Gegend ist sehr schön, das Haus ist etwas abgelegen, hat uns aber sehr gut gefallen. Pool sowie die restlichen Einrichtungen waren so wie beschrieben. Die Privatsphäre ist top.

Sehr viel ungenutztes Potential, Bilder sind veraltet

Wir waren eine Woche mit Kindern und Hund in dem Haus. Die Fotos im Inserat sind veraltet. Es waren nur 3 Liegen da, zwei kaputte hatte man einfach hinter eine Hecke neben einen vor sich hinrostenden alten VW Käfer gelegt, ohne diese auszutauschen oder zu entsorgen. 2 weitere Liegen kamen am 3. Tag auf Anfrage, es gibt aber nur 3 Polster für die 5 Liegen. Die Palmen sind inzwischen alle verschwunden, dadurch kein Schatten am Pool. Das Trampolin auf dem Bild ist total ausgerissen, unseren Kindern sind buchstäblich die Sprungfedern um die Ohren geflogen. Das kaputte Trampolin hat man offenbar einfach stehen lassen, ein paar alte Federn lagen auf einer Mauer. Unverantwortlich. Internet funktionierte anfangs gar nicht (Kabel abgebrochen), TV ohne Empfang (Sat-Schüssel kaputt), beides wurde zwar repariert, aber das ging von unserer Urlaubszeit ab. Sehr abgelegen, dadurch zwar ruhig, aber: Als wir einmal unterwegs waren, fehlten danach vom Pool zuvor sorgsam verstaute Pooltiere, ausgeschlossen, dass es der Wind an diesem windstillen Tag gewesen sein kann. Eines der 3 Schlafzimmer hat keine Klima. Möbel erscheinen insgesamt alt und einfach/billig bis auf die Couch im Wohnzimmer, die recht neue Dusche/Duschkabine sowie das Bett in dem Schlafzimmer ohne Klima. Platz in den Kleiderschränken reicht bei 5 Gästen nicht aus. Garten wirkt nicht sehr gepflegt, es wurde nicht gewässert, Rasen und Pflanzen waren vertrocknet, immerhin ein paar neue kleine Bäume gepflanzt. Hier wäre mehr drin!!!

Glorious residence!

Der Aufenthalt war grundsätzlich ok. Leider sind die Möbel teilweise etwas abgenutzt und die Sauberkeit war nur mittelmäßig. Aber der Pool und die Lage waren klasse!

Fast perfekt

Unser Aufenthalt in der Villa Moncodogno war sehr gut, aber zum „perfekt“ fehlt leider noch was. Die Lage etwas außerhalb von Rovinj ist super, es ist alles erreichbar- von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bis Autobahn oder Restaurants. Zu Fuß eher nicht, höchstens noch mit einem mitgebrachten Fahrrad. Das Grundstück ist riesig, die Beschreibungen passen. Die Palmen auf dem Poolbild sind leider nicht mehr da. Der Pool wurde kontrolliert und gereinigt. Leider war die Sauberkeit im Haus nicht so gut. Spinnweben wurden zwar nachher noch entfernt, aber z.B. der Badezimmervorleger war schmutzig, wir haben ihn selbst gewaschen. Auch die Außenküche war nicht geputzt. Insgesamt hat das Haus viel Potential, wir finden aber, dass es liebevoller eingerichtet werden könnte und man einiges altes entsorgen oder erneuern könnte. Buchung und Übergabe erfolgten problemlos, auch der Hausmeister war schnell zur Stelle. Also- fast perfekt!
