Loved our exhilarating winter break.
Loved our exhilarating winter break. The cottage was everything we could have wished for, warm and well equipped in a remote location overlooking the Irish Sea. Short drive to Portpatrick and Stranraer, and a great place to explore the Rhinns of Galloway.

I wanted somewhere quiet, cosy, woth great views and I was not disappointed.
I wanted somewhere quiet, cosy, woth great views and I was not disappointed. It was genuinely the perfect christmas for me, the wife and the pooch. It has shops driving distance but we didn't really need that. We just wanted somewhere we could relax, and go for walks. The host gave us a little christmas hamper and plenty was provided. I would wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone. I have recommended to friends and family and will continue to do so.

Lovely cottage in a lovely location despite a mixed week of weather! The log burner was well used especially on the wettest and windiest of days.Had everything we needed and the welcome pack was a great surprise and much enjoyed-thank you.Close enough to Portpatrick and Stranraer for shops…had a great couple of meals in the Waterfront Hotel in Portpatrick .. dog friendly too so bonus! Sandhead beach brilliant for the dog too.Only downside was the bed was a bit firm for us - prefer a softer mattress - but it definitely wouldn’t put us off returning.
