'Stucky house' delicious suite in the old mill: wi / fi, sat, lift

The splendid suite, located in Giudecca, is part of the monumental complex of the MOLINO STUCKY (1850), recently restored together with the Hilton Hotel.
Direct connection from the railway station, from the airport and from the Tronchetto parking lot with scheduled boats.
The apartment, located on the 3rd floor of the complex as well as providing all the comforts (WI / FI, A. C. and independent heating, TV SAT, CD / DVD player, lift), is a small palace of 80 square meters furnished by Venetian architects with lacquered furniture, using delicate colors that give it a romantic look.
It consists of a comfortable dining room with double sofa bed and kitchenette, 1 large bathroom with tub and shower and 1 bedroom.
From the windows of the apartment you can enjoy the view of the gardens of the Hilton Hotel and a glimpse of the Lagoon and the Lido island. It is possible to use the SPA and Fitness of H. for a fee Hilton as well as the hotel restaurant and pub with spectacular views of Venice.
The area is full of typical restaurants, cicchetterie, pizzerias, pubs, sandwich shops, craft shops, etc.
Venice never ceases to amaze being at the center of an exceptional cultural circuit where artistic, theatrical, musical, cinematographic, museums, exhibitions of various types are concentrated.

Property manager Rosina is a star. She was always there for us and always helpful. We were three seniors and she had the pull out bed made and ready when we arrived. Location is perfect once you figure out how the vaporetti system works.

Had a fab 4 day break in Venice, the location of the stucky house apartment was ideal. The apartment is a very short trip by water taxi across the lagoon. It was great to leave the mainland after a days touring to be able to enjoy a restaurant meal on Giudecca island. The apartment was as described, in a quiet complex, very secure, with local amenities, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy. The apartment was clean, spacious, wifi connected, had impressive air con and was a great relaxing retreat from a day touring. Would highly recommend this apartment if you are visiting venice.

Wonderful Venice Apartment

The apartment was a terrific place to stay for our six-night time in Venice. It was clean, comfortable and had all the features as depicted in the listing. We made good use of the washing machine. The nearby Prix grocery store was convenient, although we took most of our primary meals at various cafes, both on Giudecca (we liked the quietness of that island) and in Venice. It was easy to take Vaporetto to the other islands. Mrs. Rosina was an excellent property manager - so friendly and helpful.

Great stay on the Giudecca

Check in was super smooth, the apartment was beautifully furnished with all amenities provided. Lovely and very helpful owner and manager and the location on the Giudecca was optimal - quiet and relaxing but also so close to so many interesting places!

Quiet Romance Awaits

Loved location just across from Venice once we figured out the vaporetti(water taxis). Quiet area, great local trattorias nearby, easy access to water taxis, good kitchen supplies although we didn’t cook. It was nice to have a relaxing space to spend our evening after busy days out exploring.

Lucrezia apartment is spotless clean, conveniently located and it is easy to catch the vaporetto. Communicatioandn was easy and we felt very safe. I definitely recommend!

Nice stay @ La Giudecca

Large but cosy and well equipped appt; good and very quiet location. Easy transfer to airport with the alilaguna. Rosina gave me a very warm and punctual welcome and all the necessary info.1 minus point: the site says that you can use the Hilton swimmingpool( paying) but this isn't so. Rosina has tried invain to persuade the hotel manager😉 this info should be removed from the site because it creates false expectations.

Overall good but a few issues

Nice manager but I don’t think the listing is completely accurate and there were a few issues like the laundry was broken, toilet was rigged in order to work. I was given an address in an email and it changed in a whatsup message she sent me later, the hot tub is a package you can buy at the spa next door. If the listing was up front, this would be good place to stay. Very clean, full condo, beautiful bathroom etc

My ‘home’ in Venice

This is my third stay in this excellent condo on Giudecca…am already planning the next visit. The condo is in the buildings adjacent to the Hilton Molino Stucky, a superb location. The vaporetto stop is nearby and the Airport water shuttle is located at the Hilton for your convenience. The condo is modern, bright, spacious and immaculate. We appreciated having a washing machine in addition to the usual conveniences. Vicky welcomed us and we were able to leave our luggage there before check in time. She was also easy to reach and so helpful.Giudecca is relaxing and has a variety of restaurants and trattorias as well as convenience stores, pharmacies, supermarket and fruit / vegetable stores. The rental fee is excellent value. Lodging here will certainly enhance your Venetian experience!

A neighborhood experience?

If that is what you are looking for, this is not the place. The industrial looking building looks across to everything you want to see - on the other side of the canal. Other than the hotel (quite lovely) and the women's prison next door, there are several blocks along the water front offering a number of causal restaurants and a small market. The market may not actually be that far, but after a flight from US to Paris, to Venice, to a taxi, to a water taxi, it seemed a very long walk. We opened the window to let in some fresh air. I fell asleep while my husband went to the market. By the time he returned, the the apt. was filled with tiny mosquitoes and I had a half a dozen welts on my face for the next 5 days. The apt. was clean and comfortable and the modern bath quite nice. The taxi dock is close and convenient as long as you don't plan a very late evening. To get to the apt you have to fine someone to direct you to the building, then enter a dreary industrial hallway with a large central desk and not a chair, bench, anything else to welcome very exhausted travelers. Someone then leads you out of this building to another. The entrance was smaller, but equally dreary and institutional. I can only say that of the many places we have booked on line this was the first disappointment. For what we were looking for on our first visit to Venice, I would not recommend.

This is our second stay at this Vrbo - Rosina welcomed us to the unit and gave clear answers for all of our questions - the unit is spacious and very well equipped- I cook at least one meal a day and was pleased to have a few staples provided-oil, vinegar, salt and coffee

Great spot!

Really enjoyed this apartment. It is removed from the chaos of tour boats and day visitors. Evening strolls on Guidecca feel magical. Rosina is fantastic!

The place was beautiful! Very clean and very newly renovated. Rosina was very helpful. Definitely a quiet place compared to the hustle and bustle of Main island of Venice. It’s just a ferry right away. (Called Vaparetto) But you do need to remember that it is a ferry ride every day that you wanna go into Venice. It was just an unexpected extra fee. We were there for four days and paid 90 per person to have unlimited access to the ferry. Other than that, it was a fantastic vacation.

Lovely stay in Venice

Located in Guidecca, this was a perfect home base for our stay in Venice. We were met by the property manager who gave us keys and a tour of the property. When the elevator was found to need service, Rosina even helped carry our bags. The apartment was set up in anticipation of our arrival with an already made pullout bed and extra towels (we often have to request towels for the third person in our party), and Rosina dropped off extra paper products later in our stay so there was plenty on site. Prior contact with the host was also simple with easy to follow directions. Our favorite stay during our trip.
