Where the sun shines more than 300 days a year, our beautiful house is in the quaint quiet village of Peyriac de Mer. Close to the Pyrenees and Mediterranean sea, it's surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Popular with artists, ornithologists, wind and kite -surfers and people who want to relax!

The space
Our house has a lot of character, being very old and built in stone.
It’s big, spacious, rustic and quirky.



To get to Peyriac is very easy.

By Air
From the UK, flights go from Gatwick to Toulouse and Montpellier via Easyjet. (Toulouse is about 100 miles from Peyriac and Montpellier, about 60miles away), Beziers is the closest airport (about 22miles from Peyriac) flying from London Luton or from London Stansted to Perpignon (about 30 miles from Peyriac) or also from Stansted to Carcassonne (about 30 miles from Peyriac) - all from Ryanair.

By Rail
If you are planning to catch the train from the airport or travel by rail for your whole journey the closest trainstation to Peyriac de Mere is the town of Narbonne. Catching the train is a great way to see the beautiful landscape of the area and once you get to Narbonne there are plenty of places to rent a car...or you can catch a bus all the way to the gite.

By Road
To drive from Calais, take the motorway to Boulogne, then head to Rouen, then the A road to Evereux, then Dreux, and then Chartres. Head towards Orleons and pick up the motorway heading south to Clermont-Ferrandand Bordeaux. You will arrive at an intersection at Vieson where you stay on the motorway heading towards Clermont-Ferrand. Follow the N9 for about 5 miles until you clearly see the sign post for Peyriac de Mer. After about 1km you will reach our house; 26 Chemin Neuf. It is on the main road in and out of the village.
