About this property

Quaint cottage with a wood burning stove, 2 double bed rooms , kitchen , living room , conservatory and bathroom with shower.
Skipbridge Farm is a small family run business situated between York and Harrogate , We think that it is ideal for holiday makers and people wanting to get away for a short break. We have six holiday cottages available at Skipbridge Farm.
No 8 The Granary is a three bedroomed house with a private hot tub , it has two comfortable double bedrooms and a single room , the house can sleep 5 people . The cottages are great for meeting and greeting the resident animals which include Patrick the Llama and Bob the pony .
We are close to York which has lots of great activities for adults and children , Children love York Dungeons, York Castle Museum and the Yorvik Centre. York is also famous for it's Ghost walks after dark. There are local park and ride facilities which means accessing York is easy.
As an added attraction we have a variety of animals who live here on the farm these include our Ponies, Llama's and goats.
We do not accept large parties of people or Hen Do's due to the layout of the properties and the impact on other guests.

Ticked all the boxes

We are a hard family to please tbh. Four separate families of mainly introverts with 2 children under ten and 3 young dogs. Three separate cottages was perfect as we could all retreat to our own space when things got a bit overwhelming. The cottages were perfect clean and in a great location. The staff we met were really friendly too. The hot tub was a great bonus.

Lovely little place

We loved staying at skipbridge farm, perfect location and perfect for dogs. Beautiful little cottage on the grounds of a beautiful farm, we will certainly be back.

Beautiful place!

We had a lovely 2 days here - the farm is beautiful and really relaxing. We enjoyed walking our dog around the grounds of an evening with the beautiful sunset and again in the morning with the sunrise. The cottage is really well presented, equipped with everything and comfortable beds. We will definitely be staying again. Thanks so much to the property owners and management.
