The apartment is close to Delamont Country Park, The National Trust's Rowalane Gardens, and Castle Ward, where Game of Throne tours are very popular with the location of the Winterfell Castle.

Nearby is Castle Espie, a wetland centre with a wide variety of indigenous wildlife, while a short drive will bring you to the scenic seaside resort of Newcastle, known for its superb golf course and hiking in the Mourne Mountains. Added to these, Murlough National Nature Reserve and St Patricks Visitor Centre in Downpatrick are a must.
