Picturesque Killyleagh is best known for its 12th century castle, which appears like a Loire-style chateau and is just 35 minutes drive from Belfast. The apartment is close to Delamont Country Park, The National Trust's Rowalane Gardens, and Castle Ward, where Game of Throne tours are very popular with the location of the Winterfell Castle.
Nearby is Castle Espie, a wetland centre with a wide variety of indigenous wildlife, while a short drive will bring you to the scenic seaside resort of Newcastle, known for its superb golf course and hiking in the Mourne Mountains. Added to these, Murlough National Nature Reserve and St Patricks Visitor Centre in Downpatrick are a must.
The apartment is within easy walking distance of great local restaurants and is close to the popular wedding venues of Dufferin Arms, Finnebrogue Woods and the beautiful Tullyverry House.
Another popular trip is to the North Coast, through Carrickfergus, Carnlough and ending up at The Giants Causeway.

Killyleagh is a beautiful gem, full of character on the coast, a 45 minute drive out of Belfast
The room apartment was excellent, the Dufferin Arms a true pleasure to visit with excellent Guinness, there’s a castle at the end of the street, the walk around the waterfront, the little cafe next door had good coffee and the Eurostar had everything else we needed.
When we return to Ireland, we will stay again.

Beautiful apartment in great location
My family stayed at this apartment for 5 nights while visiting family who live locally. The property is in a great location, extremely clean and well maintained. Very modern and comfortable. The landlord is a real gentleman and went out of his way to assist. Very welcoming and would not hesitate to recommend this apartment.
