This is a clean cute cottage close to the beach and downtown. There is a decent restaurant right up the street, like 2 minute walk, which was convenient and with the tree line between us there was no noise. Limited kitchen supplies and paper goods (no back up roll of toilet paper) so you may want to bring some with you. I was surprised not to find an information sheet at the house but we were able to figure things out. As far as communication it was different from most of our VRBO experiences. We use this site a lot and usually everything comes through the VRBO app messaging, not with this rental. We did get a call with a message and later I found an email from The Beaches with the door code, not a complaint but as a be aware. On the other hand the cottage was available earlier than 4pm and we were allowed to go in early, MUCH APPRECIATED! Overall great experience and we would rent again.

Great location!

A great location for a weekend stay! Close to everything to walk, but nice quiet area. Good communication with owners. Pictures listed of bedroom is the same room, not two different ones. The curtains were a little moth eaten, but did the job.

Perfect weekend getaway with kids

This was the perfect place to call home for the short weekend trip with our children 2 & 4. This place accommodated us for everything we needed (bed/bath) and lake George gave us the adventure to boating, hiking, restaurants. Million Dollar beach was walking distance as well as a local park.

Great location - can walk to most all attractions.

Perfect for a family with one or two children. A few minutes walk to the beach, bike trail, boats, amusements and restaurants. Clean property with east access.

Weekend Getaway

My Fiancé and I, along with my parents stayed here while we were in town for the ADK food and wine festival! It was a perfect location, far enough away to be out of all the craziness of the village but also close enough to walk right to the festival, didn’t have to worry about driving at all! Perfect place!

Great location - best of both worlds

We had a great stay in Lake George. The cottage is an easy walk into the bustle of town but without all of the noise. Check-in was a breeze and the unit was clean and well stocked. Thank you!

Staycation at LG

We live about an hour away so we are very familiar with LG. We enjoyed being tourist for a couple days. My sons throughly enjoyed their stay at your cabin. I had hope to be closer to town, but my sons really enjoyed the walks to downtown!
