About this property

Lovely Cottage with private access and boat slip on Lake George

Enjoy the beautiful Adirondack Mountains while staying in a lovely cottage located walking distance to private lakefront. Private access to lake is a 5 minute stroll down the slope across route 9 and gives you access to the calm waters of Middleworth Bay at Lake George for swimming/boating where there is a 40' pier with a lakeside deck perfect for picnics and lazy afternoons. You can park your boat here comfortably. There are 2 new kayaks for use , we can provide life jackets or you can bring your own. Enjoy spacious bedroom with 2 double beds with propane stove heater and another small bedroom with 2 twin trundle beds. Bathroom has shower/tub, washer and dryer and plenty of shelf storage. You can relax in the great room which has large sofa TV and propane stove heater. Newly build in 2018 outdoor private patio including gas grill, table with umbrella for kicking back, relaxing, enjoying the surroundings or the starry evenings.
There is plenty of parking space behind the cottage. The house has wall unit air conditioning, ceiling fans, iron and ironing board.
Near all summer activities, including Great Escape, Saratoga Springs, & Vermont with excellent hiking trails near by and horseback riding trails.

We completely enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It’s clean and has everything you need - especially when traveling with kids. Two sleeping areas plus a kitchen were key! Plus the dock slip was only a block away. We had a great time!

Beautiful Property and Dock Area

This is a great place to stay to enjoy Lake George. The house is well kept and impeccably clean. It is a short walk to the dock area which has a great deck where you can enjoy the view and swim. It’s a very nice cove area. You can also dock your boat there which makes it very convenient for boaters. The owners are friendly and accommodating. Excellent vacation spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Diamond point cottage

We just spent five days at the cottage and really enjoyed our stay . The cottage was clean, bright and comfortable. We loved the location as it was private yet very convenient to both Lake George Village and Bolton Landing. The owner was very friendly and suggested some hiking trails to us which we went on. She was also very helpful and quick to answer when we had a question . We hope to return .

Great house ,close to all !!!!

Wonderful 2 bedroom cabin just off lake. Nice living room with tv. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed. Driveway was big enough to keep boat trailer in. Used boat slip which is just a short walk down the hill to the lake. Dock was new with ample water at dock for my 18' center console. Kids swam off dock and it has a ladder for entrance and exit of water easily. About 10 min drive to lake George village and great escape park. Deli and marina very close. Definitely will stay again !!!

Perfect cozy retreat

A beautiful, very clean, and bright cottage located in Diamond Point just off the lake. The nearby private dock makes it perfect for canoeing or kayaking.. The cottage is well furnished and overall, just lovely. It *did* have a toaster and fire pit (noted in other reviews) Elizabeth and Marius, the property owners, were very nice and accommodating.

Great Cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The place is super clean and cozy. They have nice spot with the sittings and grill behind the house where we spend most of the time. It was very private and quiet. Will definitely come back for another getaway to enjoy the lake, nature and wooden cottage in the forest!

Peaceful and private

We had a great stay. We were a little surprised that the cottage was not right on the water. I guess we may have assumed that it was. The cottage was very clean and had some very nice amenities. The only improvements I would make are a hairdryer, toaster, extra blankets, and better pillows. Also it would be nice if there were mirrors in the bedrooms so that more than one person could get ready at a time. There is only one mirror. I would recommend this property.

Spotless and cozy

This little cottage was perfect for a girls weekend getaway. My standards are very high when it comes to cleanliness and this house did not disappoint us. The house is located across from the lake and has a dock with chairs and loungers, along with kayaks. We walked to the nicest restaurant called Tavern On The Lake , which is about 2 miles from the house, but mostly just hung out at the house.

Pet Friendly Lake George Cottage

Thank you for being a pet friendly stay; the pooches loved the destination! For the humans, this is not a destination for a cook. Definitely an eat out/take food in proposition. Was clean and very close to the water with a very inviting deck to lounge at.

Cozy Cottage!

Loved this Cottage , very clean and roomy For the four of us and our dog. Elizabeth was great at getting back to us with any questions we had. Lake was less then 5min walk, it was great to sit lakeside and enjoy watching the kids enjoy the Kayaks and swimming, would highly recommend this cottage gem!
