This 2-story condominium offers privacy to 2 couples or a family of four with a comfortable, cozy shared living area. The unit is located at the end of the development with windows facing onto a landscaped area providing lots of light. Both suites have decks with sliding glass doors onto them. A fabulous YMCA facility as well as a bus stop to the ski lifts and downtown and is a quick 2-block walk from your door. The condo is conveniently locate 6 blocks from the center of Ketchum with many restaurants and shops on the way.
The 2nd floor bedroom has a queen-sized bed, desk and sitting area, with attached bathroom and walk-in closet. The 1st floor bedroom has a queen-sized futon couch that sleeps two people, with attached bathroom and small closet. The great room has an open kitchen, dining area with seating for six and a cozy living room area. The great room and 2nd floor bedroom have vaulted ceilings and a very open feel.
WiFi and cable will help make your stay convenient and entertaining should you find yourself indoors from the many outdoor activities of the area. Playing fields, tennis courts, new pickleball courts, a kids playground and free outdoor ice rink are located at Hemingway elementary school a 2-minute walk away.
One parking space in the development is provided with a removable parking pass that will be provided for your windshield. Parking pass must be removed and remain at the condo when you depart or you will be charged a $70.00 replacement fee.

David's place was clean, cozy and the perfect spot to spend a ski weekend in Sun Valley
So close to downtown Ketchum and also both the Warm Springs and River Run lodges
Doesn't get much better than this!
Everything we needed was there. Main floor bed was uncomfortable. Would be nice to have ceiling fans in the bedrooms. There was no parking for one extra vehicle. Overall the place was nice and cozy and very quiet and the location was excellent to walk to town.
Perfect home base for a long weekend in Sun Valley
We were in Ketchum Wednesday - Tuesday in July and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Well provisioned, amazing location, comfortable beds and living area, very well stocked kitchen, great water pressure, washer/dryer. Blackout curtains in the bedrooms. Quiet neighborhood and walking/biking distance to everything. The main Wood River trail is about 50 steps away which gets you everywhere. There's a playground with a great playscape next door. We enjoyed being on the north side of town, easier access to areas we were looking to explore. Fantastic condo!
We had the most wonderful visit and first time trip to the Sun Valley area. The condo was clean and well equipped. IT was the perfect configuration for us and our daughters to share the downstairs cozy room and us in the upstairs loft. 2 bathrooms! What an absolute treat. The location was absolutely ideal for hitting the road for day hikes or to warm springs road and then walking shortly to dinner and shopping. The beds we super comfy and we enjoyed playing games on the upstairs deck. The only rec I would have would be to have a little table outside to enjoy dining or playing games on those beautiful summer nights. All in all a gem of a property and we appreciate the cleanliness and attention to detail to make the stay comfortable! We will be back!
Unit was clean and well stocked. Construction being done on other buildings in the complex hindered parking a little but not a huge issue. Forgot to leave the parking pass in the unit and didn’t realize until we were 2 hours away. David was very accommodating and allowed me to FedEx it back to the unit. Would stay there again.
Minus some personal affects like used bars of soap the house was tidy. We loved the location and the condo. I think some additional storage like a hand towel ring on the wall or some shelves so you have a place to put your bathroom items would be nice. Overall great rental and we look forward to future stays.
This condo was perfect for our weeklong cross country ski vacation. It was close to all of the things we needed to be close to, restaurants, grocery supplies, and cross-country ski trails. It had the most well stocked kitchen of any similar unit that we have stayed in and was very roomy and comfortable to live in. The only negative that we could add is that we often ran out of hot water with just the two of us taking showers. But we will definitely return!
This was one if not the best VRBO home I have ever stayed in. The location was perfect for the trailing of the sheep festival that we attended. The condo was extremely well provisioned. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The cookware was the best I’ve ever seen with lots of utensils. It was Well-stocked with spices and essential even great coffee. Beds were comfortable with great bedding over all it was cozy and comfortable. The communication with our host was excellent. He responded to every question we had very quickly. I would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting the lovely city of Ketchum . I’m sure it will be a great place in the winter also.
This property with an excellent location was perfect for me. Walking distance to everything you need. Roll out of the parking area and onto the Warm Springs Road bike trail. David was a great host, very responsive to my communications with him. He answered my questions and gave good advice as well as promptly taking care anything that needed attention.
The condo is exactly what my BFF and I needed for our Mama Getaway weekend. We drive into Stanley for hiking and whitewater rafting; enjoyed restaurants in Ketchum. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom, which was very nice. The kitchen is well stocked and the condo is very cozy!
This is our third time renting David’s place. It is walking distance to Ketchum, sits right up against the park, and is in a quiet neighborhood. On this trip we visited my brother and family and skied several days. We’ll be coming back again as long as David will have us.
We loved David’s place! The beds were very comfortable, the gas fireplace was really nice and the kitchen was well stocked. The property was well maintained. It snowed a great deal while we were there and the sidewalks and parking lot were cleared immediately. Location was great! We walked into town a few times. I would definitely stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was walkable from downtown Ketchum and just a bus ride away from the Riverrun base.

I am a licensed architect with an active practice in Sun Valley and Boise. Family and work requires that I spend much of my time in Boise so decided to downsize to a smaller living unit in Ketchum and make it available for vacation rentals. Having lived in the Wood River Valley for over 20 years I understand the advantages of staying close to downtown. The convenience of being able to walk, bike or bus anywhere in town adds to your sense of place and wellbeing. If you don't intend to go out of the Ketchum area you can take a shuttle or taxi from the airport and forget about the rental car!

This close-to-town location offers the option for walking to restaurants, bars, shopping, theaters, and more in 10-15 minutes. You will love the fact that the bus stop for free transportation to ski lifts, Sun Valley Lodge and the entire bus system is minutes away in front of the YMCA. In response to the COVID19 pandemic, I am providing 48 hours between rentals and thorough cleaning of all surfaces, controls, light fixtures, etc. commonly touched in the unit.
What makes this property unique
The volume created by high ceilings throughout most of this condominium and privacy provided by having the bedroom suites on separate floors were two features that I love about this unit. Warm colors, wood beams and ceilings as well as a central gas-burning stove enhance the rustic getaway ambiance, throughout. To encourage longer-term rentals during these changing times, I am offering a 35% discount for monthly stays and 25% for weekly stays.
