We know that your vacations are as important to you as they are to us. You will enjoy expansive views of the 11 mile lagoon from your four bedroom, three bath, immaculately maintained home. There are Lagoon views from all living areas and three of the four bedrooms. Hardwood and tile floors in open living space, bedrooms are carpet. Abundant outdoor entertainment space, gorgeous freshwater pool & spa (heatable for extra fee), and beautiful deck overlooking one of the best lagoon views in Palmetto Dunes. There is a private dock and seating area great for fishing and launching your next Kayak excursion. You will relish your morning coffee or glass of wine after a day at the beach watching Wood Storks, Green Herons, Ibises, and other wildlife. Just 1/2 a mile to one of the most beautiful beaches in North America. Incredible resort location for bike riding, golfing, kayaking, tennis, fishing and much, much more. Lots of additional information available to first time island visitors or for returning visitors looking to explore further. We ask for constant feedback to keep it well maintained and are very proactive with any issues.

On top of walking and biking the Palmetto Dunes Buggy is a FREE on demand and door to door shuttle. Head to the beach, Shelter Cove Marina, Shops, and Restaurants. This Shuttle runs from April thru September

Great home on lagoon in Palmetto Dunes

We loved this house for so many reasons! The house provides lots of fun activities between swimming, fishing, biking, golf and is an easy bike or walk to the beach. The view of the lagoon was beautiful and we really enjoyed our time here. Management was responsive.

Perfect Location & House

We had a lovely time at this beautiful home. Perfect for a big family. The house was very clean and had plenty of room for everyone. The owners were extremely responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. The pool was wonderful, as were the amazing views of the lagoon. I will note that the we did have to use the pool net each day to clean out debris from the pool. For some reason it didn't feel as though the pool filter was pumping much. We contacted the owner and they explained it was on a timer. But that little bit of extra work did not detract from the great time had swimming. We also kayaked in the lagoon throughout our stay. In addition to those fun activities, we rented bikes as well, which made the trip to the beach access point a bit easier. We tried to walk a few times, but the children with us were small and it was a little too far both ways for them - they did it - but it would have been easier with a wagon. For the adults - the walk was a nice one! We would definitely recommend this house!

Great property with exceptional views of the lagoon.

We were fortune to be searching right when this property became available as a rental. The owners were responsive to all questions before the rental and also for a couple of questions during our stay. The house and amenities are first rate and the kitchen is equipped to support a chef! The furnishings are top notch and everyone of the 8 of us reported sleeping very well on high quality mattresses. A few things that separated this property from the many others we have stayed at in Hilton Head include: The location - perfectly situated less than a mile from the general store, but it was quiet as this house was at the end of the street - deadend. The backyard is amazing with a very high quality pool and a dock that looks out over one of the widest spots on the lagoon. My mother in law said she could sit out back forever!! Landscaping - immaculate and professionally maintained with many plants , trees, flowers and sod. Fishing - if you like to fish , stay here. We caught plenty. Kayak / Canoe - you can rent one and launch easily from the dock. Beach - there is an access sidewalk right across the street from the beginning of Haul Away Drive. In summary - this property is outstanding and worth every penny the rental costs. Stick to the 8 or less renters so you are comfortable. You will not be disappointed by choosing 46 Haul Away.

Everything Expected and More

This property exceeded my expectations. Not only the home but the community that the home is in (Palmetto Dunes). First the home was very clean, a very important item for myself and others in my group. The home and the grounds are beautiful. The private pool was very relaxing for all in my group. You could hang by the pool all day or hit the pool after the beach. You will not be disappointed in renting this home. The owners were great to work with. The home is beautiful, the home is on a great street and the community of Palmetto Dunes is amazing.

Amazing house in a great location. Close to the beach with incredible lagoon views.

The owners are a pleasure to work with. They communicate early and often. They offered a great list of activities, restaurants, and suggestions for enjoying the island. The house is well equipped. It is close to the beach and all that Shelter Cove and Palmetto Dunes plantation offers. The house is gorgeous, with a beautiful pool and spa. Whenever we visit Hilton Head we want to stay at this house.

Gorgeous home!!!

First trip to Hilton Head and loved every minute of it! The house was amazing and had everything and more. FULLY stocked kitchen, beautiful decor, comfortable beds, pool was perfect, and could relax watching the lagoon every day. The plants/flowers were breathtaking as well as the bird watching. Walk to the beach was easy....bikes made it even easier. Jerry and Kathy made everything simple from booking the vacation to following up with being sure our stay was enjoyable. We can’t thank you enough!!!

Family vacation to remember.

Hilton Head is one of our favorite places on Earth. The homeowners where tremendous from booking to checkout, and at all times in between. Any question we had was answering shockingly fast, all the way down to recommendations for local fish bait shops. The home was very clean, well appointed, and could not have been more comfortable. No doubt this house will be on our short list when we return next time.

Our family fell in love with Hilton Head when we were looking for a winter holiday home. We were finally lucky enough to be able to buy a house here and after much searching, chose our 'home away from home.' It has always been a great place to vacation. We love the fact that there is so much to do in terms of dining, shopping, theaters and movies in addition to all the outdoor activities available. The best part is the island has controlled development without huge, flashing neon signs and strips of hotels. The beach is magnificent and not crowded in the area of our home.

Why they chose this property

The house is open and airy. Your view the moment you walk in the home is amazing. Home is on a quiet street that ends in a cul-de-sac. There is direct dock access to the 11 mile lagoon, a system of little creeks and lakes great for fishing, boating, and kayaking. The fishing off the dock or on kayak is one of the best sites on the entire Lagoon (local fishing guides bring their tours here). The gorgeous, wide white sand beach in the Mariner's section of Palmetto Dunes where the house is located is pristine, quiet and uncrowded.

What makes this property unique

Soak up the amazing view from the pool and got tub. Fishing from the dock or from a kayak in the lagoon is fun. You will love catching redfish, tarpon, stripers (rockfish), trout, bluefish, flounder, black drum, and more. You will enjoy a National Geographic experience with the plentiful birds and other wildlife. This is available just outside your back door!
