The apartment was clean and presentable on our arrival. We have been many times to Casa Poppy and feel comfortable that we have everything we need. The owner has made several improvements which we appreciate, however the first impression as you arrive could be improved by painting the gate and hand rails.

Lovely apartment, home from home. Satisfied with everything about our stay, we feel there is no need for improvement. Rain overnight blew electric but this was dealt with promptly the next day, great service.

Apartment well located for town centre but nice and quiet. Immaculately clean, had everything we needed including a large comfy bed and fabulous roof terrace. Elite rentals staff were very helpful when we got locked out, located close by and came straight away! The washer sounds like it’s about to die even on the rapid cycle (as specified on the machine). The towels soon smelt fusty- they need a long hot wash, I washed them on the rapid cycle but this did not fix the problem!

Lovely apartment and very well equipped, much bigger than expected and the roof terrace was private and very spacious. The Elite rentals team were excellent to deal with, would highly recommend them. Will be booking through them again. Snag and maintenance checks before guests arrive to ensure everything works as expected, such as the pool access, screens and lights on sun terrace, apart from the pool access issue which did take a few days to sort, the rest were very minor and don't have any impact on our stay, again Elite were very helpful and a pleasure to deal with

The size of the apartment is ideal for a couple. Loved the new walk-in shower and the new electric hob. Made life much easier. Some things need addressing, eg there was a shutter missing on the living room window, two drawers in the chest of drawers in the bedroom were falling apart and were virtually unusable.

Outstanding

This is a beautifully kept property in the heart of Carvoeiro. It's a lovely short walk downhill to the town (bit tough on the way back!!). The house has everything you need but the best part is the rooftop terrace with 360 degree view of the town, pool and the sea. It's really spectacular with sunbeds, couch, table and chairs and large canopy. There is a key to access the lovely communal pool, plenty of sunbeds and we were the only people there. The house is really well equipped, the bed is very comfortable and the entire place is spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well laid out and a lovely lounge and tv with plenty of channels. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. We had a wonderful time.

LATE SUMMER BREAK

The property was ok, although a bit small and I didn't realise it was just on the 1st Floor of a Town House (apart from the Roof Terrace). I genuinely believed it was like the majority of Town Houses on the Colina Verde complex which comprise of a Ground Floor and the a First Floor. The property looks better than it actually was in terms of comfortable furniture, as the PVC couch wasn't the best in truth. The decor and furniture was extremely basic. I also was frustrated that there wasn't any Sky Sports or Sky Movies on the TV, which appeared to only have a basic TV package. The property like I said was ok, but don't think I will be staying at this particular one at the Colina Verde complex.

Casa Poppy

The pics of the apartment and description are accurate. It is bright and well maintained. We travelled with a friend who knew the location of Colina Verde but without him we would have struggled to find it. We found it difficult not having heat in the kitchen and bathroom with renting during the winter months. The Property Manager, Kate was quick to respond to our requests and overall we were very satisfied. Carvoeiro is very hilly and it is quite a climb to walk back to the apartment from town but we enjoyed the challenge!
