My family enjoyed Bonnet Shores very much. Everything that we possibly needed was provided for us which made it a stress free vacation. We would certainly go back and highly recommend it to anyone.
Thank you,
Karen
House is set up well and very comfortable. Parking little tight but that was known up front. It’s be nice to have access to deck from outside so wouldn’t need to go through master bedroom to get to it. Slight issues with WiFi took few days to sort out but overall very happy with the property!
We enjoyed staying at the property. Below are the pros and cons based on our experience:
Pros: Spacious rooms and plenty of space for quite time and privacy; AC in all bedrooms; quite neighborhood; kitchen well equipped; all appliances included.
Cons: Mattress in one of the bedrooms was not comfortable at all and should be replaced. Deck is accessible only from the master bedroom; there should be access from outside of the house as well.
A family of four, myself and my pet stayed at the Beachhouse. It was very comfortable with four bedrooms and three bathrooms-A/C in all bedrooms and plenty of fans. The dining area and kitchen are spacious and everything was clean and orderly. We spent some time in the living room watching the Olympics on bad weather days which was comfortable. The shoreline was about a mile away and a pleasant walk. We were also close the main road, Narragansett beach, Wakefield and Newport which we visited and explored. We attended River Fire in Wakefield and a concert at the Gazebo near Narragansett beach which were nice 'extras' we learned about during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Beachhouse on Aroostook Trail-thank you!

Liked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
Could have been so much better
House was a good size and the area is awesome we love Kelly beach
Lots to like about the house but here is what we didn't like
The cleaning people did a bad job before we got there , my son was filthy from crawling on the unwashed floors.
Two of the five beds were incredibly uncomfortable (mid shappen major shagging in the middle and old old old) but the other three were good.
Two of the kitchen chairs were wobbly and missing parts to make them sturdy
Shower curtain in the main bathroom was mildewy
Two of the doors did not lock or stay shut, the closet door could not latch because it was missing part of the closing mechanism
Couch is very worn out in the middle sections
Overall the house has a lot of potential but needs some upgrades for sure
We had a good sized crowd and there was room for us all. The beach is quite a distance- a mile or so, so we dropped off folks and my husband drove back ( no parking by the local beach) and then walked to the beach. The kitchen equipment is quite basic.
My family and I had a wonderful time at this beach house! There was plenty of room for all of us! It was clean and it was an easy walk to the beach. So many great places nearby. I’ll definitely be back for sure!
I would highly recommend this rental. It is is situated in a quiet neighborhood just north of downtown Narragansett. Ten minute ride to the Coast Guard house. If you’ve never been to Bonnet Shores, there are great amenities right around the corner: CVS, gas stations, ice cream, a small local grocery store. Kelly beach is small, but very family oriented. Easy bike ride, although we only went once. It’s just a personal choice for us, we like the state beaches, The house was large, had all of the items needed for a pleasant stay, was air conditioned, and had plenty of parking. We had a great time and are planning on returning next summer.
The Bonnet Shores house was large, very clean upon arrival. Besides some pans that were scratched the kitchen was fairly well equipped and included paper products which was helpful . Also family all was hoping there was more accessible TV and cable channels since we had some rainy days… that could be improved, but aside from that the house was generally good w/amenities and large common space for families. Rental agent was prompt with responses and offered to replace pans. The area in Bonnet Shores was just beautiful. We also appreciate being able to bring our dog. Mattresses in two of the bedrooms could be replaced as one is a bit hard, the other sagging. But. Despite a bit of wear that could be improved, the house is really terrific!
The place was spacious, front screen door was broken and had a wasp nest inside the molding of door. We were very disappointed that the outdoor shower did not work. Other than those minor details we were pleased with the space we had.
Nancy was very responsive when I asked about the property before we booked. We had a total of seven if us plus a couple dogs and the space was great for that. Beach was close-ish and there were a lot of options for us (as we also have a beach pass for the state beaches)

Good location and space
The location was convenient for the one mile walk to the private beach, and access to the main roads for day trips to Newport, Mystic, or Jamestown, and to grocery stores. The size of the house was great for 4 adults and 4 kids, including 3 teenagers, and it provided family and private space. The realtor was emailed Saturday and on Monday arrived to check out our concerns. She returned with a new set of pots and pans, and gas tanks for the grill. We also shared concerns about a broken table, cleanliness, and a missing beach pass (which we didn't want to be blamed for). Loved the back deck for morning coffee. Kids liked the outdoor shower. Appreciated that laundry, bathroom, and kitchen soaps were supplied - that rarely happens with a rental. Would definitely suggest getting in touch with realty company as soon as a problem is noted.

Fabulous house for our family of 5. Perfect location.
This expanded cape was the perfect layout and size for our family of 5. When we arrived everything was clean. The kitchen, outside shower and bathrooms were very well stocked with all necessities. There were games, a puzzle, cable tv and the ever popular Wi-Fi. We brought 3 bikes with us and our boat. While we couldn't store the boat and trailer on site, we were able to find a slip for it at Silver Spring Marine in South Kingston. They were great there. The kids rode their bikes to the beach and back and had a fabulous time. Bonnett Shores is beautiful. The house comes with 2 passes to Kelly Beach. There isn't parking, but we filled the car, dropped off kids/stuff and used a bike to ride to the beach and back to the house. The deck off the master is perfect for dinners, card games or just relaxing. Plenty of bathrooms and overall space in this house. The fans and AC units kept things cool. We loved that Brickleys ice cream was just up the street, as were a number of gas stations, convience stores, a small grocery store, coffee shops and restaurants. We brought our dog and her crate with us too. There's a fantastic dog park about 10 minutes away. We ran our dog every morning and sometimes at night so she was tired and slept while we had our trips to Newport, the Portsmouth Rail Explorers, fishing and boating and the beach. GREAT house, GREAT fun! No complaints from any of my 3 teens. Now that's success! We would go back. Just wish it was now.

Clean, comfortable property
We enjoyed our stay, especially the free bus to the beach that ran Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues of the 4th of July weekend. That was very convenient and fun for our toddler. The beach is perfect for families with young kids, with mild waves and a gentle incline. We had a great time. When we arrived on Saturday, the property was very clean. The microwave was broken and the internet didn't work. I contacted the property manager and she told me they'd bring a temporary microwave, which they did on Monday. She gave me the info to fix the internet, which only worked temporarily, I don't know why. She had it fixed for good on Monday. On Sunday, more family arrived and we learned the coffee maker was broken as well. On Monday, they brought a new coffee maker too. At the end of the stay, we were fined $50 for excess dog hair on the couch. I had vaccumed before I left, but there was still a lot of dog hair left that I couldn't remove with the vaccuum provided. It seemed reasonable.

Superb! Large, spacious house. Centrally located within some of Rhode Island's best summer sttracti
My family and I loved staying at this house! It is spacious with a deck off the master bedroom for relaxation . The neighborhood is quiet and the private beach is less than a mile down the road. We visited Newport, Narragansett, Jamestown and Portsmouth for other attractions and travel was quick and convenient! I would stay here again!

Great vacation
This is the second year that I have rented this home. We love the home and the location. No major complaints, but the cleaning crew did not do such a great job. The bathroom on the second level was dirty. The bed on the first level had a very bad stain on the mattress pad. I contacted the realtor with a message and a picture of the mattress pad which was disgusting. No response from her. Hopefully these issues will be resolved for the 2017 season. Thank you Louise Rodrique
I would recommend the property, and enjoy the convince of the local restaurants and coffee shops. The beach is exceptional!

Great time for all!
My sister, my niece, my daughters and I had a wonderful time at this Bonnet Shores house. It was clean, bright, roomy and well supplied. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Air conditioners and fans helped keep us cool during a hot week. Loved the outside shower, too. Nice big kitchen table that we really enjoyed. Deck was great for cocktails and bunny watching. Sheets and towels were supplied, but I couldn't really tell that from the web site and brought my own. All in all, we had a lovely stay in this beautiful area. I would consider renting again. My only suggestion would be to have a few more lamps for those of us who like to read at night.
