We had a wonderful two-night stay at this beach house! The location was perfect, we loved being able to walk right to the beach. The outdoor shower was such a nice touch after sandy days, and we spent a lot of time relaxing on the deck and enjoying the backyard. Cozy, convenient, and exactly what we were looking for!
Enjoyed the beach and fresh seafood 😋

The Beach house is just enough for a short get away. The open space of the living room and kitchen, plus the porch and fire pit sitting area are a big plus for living and relaxing space. The outdoor shower gives it the fourth star in my opinion.
Absolutely a great value for the location. Literally a 10 minute walk to Roger Williams Beach. Perfect sized comfortable house for 4 adults and 1 child. The backyard was hit at night enjoying the summer breeze. Very quite neighborhood and plenty of areas to walk for exercising. Pet friendly, our dog adjusted nicely.

Hi Laurie - we're so happy you enjoyed the area and all that Narragansett has to offer. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
We found the home to be clean, quaint & cozy, plus all the bedrooms were just perfect size for a weeks vacation. Washer and dryer on site was definitely a plus as was the outdoor shower 👍 and fire pit complete with wood and chairs! Will definitely return next year 🙏😊
Great location - close to Point Judith/Galilee, several beaches (Wheeler is a short walk away), and many restaurants. The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The house was quie comfortable for four of us and our dog. The inside shower is a little tight but the outdoor shower works well. The owners answered any questions really quickly & were very accomodating. We'd definitely stay again.
Lovely older home with enough windows to bring in the light. Well thought out design.Only drawback was that some of the electeic receptacles had power either in the top plug in or thebottom, but not both. That did concern us as itmeans the old wiring has separated from from the plugs. This could cause a short and a fire.Everything else was wonderful. A/C, outdoor shower, deck and table and chairs. Could use a railing or something around the window well next to the house in the driveway. The house was close to everything we wanted to see. Lovely kitchen. Well thought out decor.

Great location but…
Cute cottage just down the street from Roger Wheeler Beach. Neighborhood is nice for walking or riding a bike. The cottage itself was not clean, it needed a thorough cleaning. We arrived to hair on the floor and dirty dishes in the cupboard, but our biggest complaint was the beds - awful. None of us slept well all week. With a good cleaning and new mattresses, the cottage would be a great rental.

Furniture was super out dated and uncomfortable beds were also very uncomfortable.
Not impressed for the cost no outside lights furniture was horrible beds. Not comfortable
Bathroom tiles broken deck needs replacing not worth the price
The home was okay; we knew it was small when we booked. We liked the proximity to Galilee and Roger Wheeler and the neighborhood seemed safe. Communication with the owners was prompt and helpful. The yard was nice and there was ample parking. We loved the outdoor shower. Picnic table was splintery and falling apart, and the last concrete step off the deck was uneven and a major tripping hazard. The cleanliness of the house however, was truly unacceptable. My mother in law had to clean the entire place when she checked in she was so appalled. The bathroom felt disgusting and floors seemed like they’ve never been mopped. Pretty gross for our crawling infant. There is only one window AC unit that does not cool the home adequately and should possibly be replaced.

The location was perfect for beach accessibility, but there were broken outdoor chairs, and the picnic table was falling apart to such an extent that we could not sit in the back yard. The toilet paper holder was falling off of the wall. The property was much smaller than we expected. Although we paid extra for my son and his dog to join us, I told him not to come because there was not enough room. When we did call the property owner because the keys feel through the deck slats, and then again when the door handle fell off, she was very nice and immediately got back to us to address the issues. Surface cleaning had been done before our arrival, but there were children socks under the bed and the floor registers were filled with dust.

Not Clean
We arrived to find the bathroom was not cleaned at all. There was hair around the sink and dirt/dust everywhere. Hair on floor of bathroom, and in bedrooms. Dust on blinds/fans. The host arranged the cleaner to come over the next day, but it was very disappointing upon arrival. At least the kitchen was clean. The outdoor shower was in need of renovation- there was rotting wood where you shower, and weeds creeping in. The window casings were all rotting from the outside.
this place has potential if the owner put forth an effort to maintain it.

Needs an update
Out side shower needs to be replaced, and it’s only place you can take a shower. I’m a skinny guy and the bathroom shower was bad! Very Nice kitchen. Would love to stay at this place again.
Location was great, house was comfortable. A couple things I’d hope get corrected, for future guests…no screen door onto side porch, holes in two screens in house, bugs coming in was an issue.bathroom fan is unusable with the amount of noise and rattling, bathroom window does not open, so no ventilation whatsoever . Patio umbrella is broken, light on deck was out, takes a special led bulb, did not want to look for one at the store, was dark out the side door at night. Bring lobster crackers if you are going to cook lobster, kitchen hand towels as well.
Again, that list was just a heads up, we enjoyed our stay, location was perfect, 5 minute walk to the beach is accurate and very convenient. I would most definitely stay again.
The house was very well-maintained and clean. The location was perfect for the weekend! My only complaint was the utensils pans and silverware. There was no usable pans for cooking breakfast. The only large pan was so old and used that the eggs stuck to the pan. Only 4 matching plates and usually the places we have stayed at had staples such as sugar but none was found.
House is in a great location, about a 5 minute walk to Roger Wheeler State Beach. Good size for 4-6 people to comfortably stay. We are a family of four (my wife and I and two teenaged boys). We usually stay closer to Scarborough beach, but wanted to take our dog along this year. The neighborhood is great, a perfect place for families with younger kids. The only complaint we had was that much of the dishware/cookware was not as clean as it should have been. We contacted the owner, who responded quickly to make things right. Overall a nice house with a nice open kitchen and living area.

Short 2 night stay mid-week
Location of the property was exactly what we need for our short visit to the Pt. Judith area, lovely deck and fire pit area. Kitchen appliances seemed up to date, but we had Issues with some items on the property, ie, the window fans did not fit the windows, the pots appeared to be dirty but if not, certainly were worn out, listing said there was an ice maker, but no ice in the bucket so not sure if working or not, listing also said paper towels and toilet paper, there was about 6 sheets of paper towel and no TP at all.

Hi Rich - thanks for the feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the location and spending time out on the deck. We appreciate the info about the pots and pans and will definitely look into refreshing the supply! The ice maker is in working condition; our apologies for the empty tray, the switch may have gotten flipped off. I also didn't realize the TP/paper towel supply had been depleted, but we have restocked! If there's ever an issue like that, please just let us know and we can refill for you during your stay. Thanks again and enjoy the rest of your summer!
This house is in a great location (easy 5 minute walk to the beach) in a quiet neighborhood. Great spot if you have a dog and/or family traveling with you!

Thanks, Ryan! We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the close proximity to the beach :)
We stayed for Labor Day weekend. The house was the perfect fit for a girls’ weekend with the kids. The walking distance to the beach is only five minutes exactly and the wagon that is provided was super helpful, The backyard is private and is equipped with a comfortable sitting area with a fire pit, which we used every night. The outdoor shower was a huge help since the house has one bathroom. We hope to rebook next year. Thank you.
Cory & I went to the University of Rhode Island and both lived in Narragansett. We loved our time living by the beach so much, that after we got married, we were so excited to buy our own place by the beach! We love everything the town has to offer and are excited to share the experience with our guests. We hope you fall in love with it as much as we have!
