Quiet, relaxing, friendly, home from home
Great location, Callac allows you to get to pink granite north coast easily. Paula and Andy are superb hosts and knowledgeable about the area. The gites are great, heated pool, and a jacuzzi. The weather was also brilliant. Two adults and two children aged 15 and 10. Sad to say goodbye this morning, some tears were shed. We will be coming back.

We have had a wonderful 10 days in Brittany. Paula and Andy could not have been better hosts.
The gite is well equipped and spotlessly clean. Beautiful peaceful surroundings, with plenty of room for playing games outside. Great to have use of the pool and hot tub. A wonderful place for a restful holiday.

Lovely welcome, a Jewell in Brittany.
Lovely welcome from Andy and Paula with a welcome basket provided with all essentials including a couple of cold beers, which were welcome after a long drive up from the south.
The gite is well equipped, the bedrooms comfortable. The pool and hot tub are fantastic and great for children. There are numerous walks in the area.
The property is centrally located and about an hour to Brest, Quimper, Dinard and about half an hour from the coast.
Lovely setting, which is peaceful, quiet and relaxing.
We had a great holiday here and I would highly recommend.
Thank you Andy and Paula.

Wonderful, relaxing family holiday
Maroux Vian offers a high standard of accommodation in a beautiful, peaceful, rural setting. We all (children aged 15 and 11) really enjoyed the facilities - good quality gites with sitting out area and BBQ, pool, activity meadow with games equipment and woodland. Being able to borrow bikes and cycle around the quiet country roads was a real bonus.
Paula and Andy provided a very warm and friendly welcome with lots of good advice to help us get the most from our stay. The "Welcome Basket" was a generous gift that greeted us on arrival.
Within easy reach from Roscof and well situated for exploring Brittany, Maroux Vian is an exceptional place to take a holiday.

5 night stay at Maroux vian
To say that Paula and Andy graham are the hosts with most is an understatement . We were welcomed to the property with a personal message on a board outside the property , we were presented with a generous welcome hamper including food and wine to help you settle in all the essentials to keep you going until your first shop . The gite was spotlessly presented with personal touches ,the pool and hot tub are well maintained and nothing is too much trouble for Paula and Andy two very generous hosts .All in all a five star stay which was not long enough thankyou

Fantastic holiday
What a fabulous couple. Andy and Paula made us so welcome. The gite was so beautifully presented with themed decorations that give the gite such a homely feeling. The welcome basket is such a thoughtful gift to get started before visiting an array of local supermarkets. Both Andy and Paula have such an eye for detail and have thought about what families need whilst on holiday. We enjoyed several of Paula's home cooked dinners that are offered at such a reasonable cost. Andy went to every effort to ensure that the pool, hot tub and play areas are kept to the highest standard of cleanliness and safety. We can't wait to book again for another holiday. I cannot recommend this holiday gite and area enough.

new owners, still perfect
Our visit was 3 days after Andy and Paula Graham took over. April 1st to 8th 2016. The Gite was just great, warm and comfortable. Beautiful welcome basket full of local produce, plus tea and coffee. Andy and Paula couldn't have been friendlier and Paula's evening meal option was superb and great value for money. We had that twice on our 6 day stay. Great location for access to the north coast which is steeped in medieval history. It gets a great recommendation from us and we shall be back for more hospitality and exploration.

A french experience to be remembered!
A wonderful, tranquil setting, within easy reach of all amenities and attractions. Accommodation was stunning and very high quality, with optional evening meals that were first class at reasonable prices. Hosts couldn't have done more to make our stay the most welcoming and comfortable experience. Truly a French feel, but with all the comforts and attention to detail expected in the UK. We will be returning for another break as soon as work allows!

About the host
Hosted by Mrs Paula Graham / Mr Andrew Graham
We absolutely adore France especially Britanny region in particular. Our plan was to find a get away from it all location that had fantastic country views and had a real home from home appeal but not too rural that we felt too isolated. We love 'the French way' of life, the fine food, wine and totally stress free.We now spend time doing the things we really enjoy doing like entertaining people and having a good time, walking, cycling, swimming, and travelling. In particular, Paula enjoys being creative; painting and making things like cakes for all occassions and loves catering, entertaining and cooking proper home-made dishes with fresh local ingredients. Andy enjoys outdoor interests; gardening, air rifle target shooting, archery, fishing, and photography.
Why they chose this property
Having been across the channel to France many times both for work and pleasure, we found this area of France particularly charming. We love the beautiful rolling countryside and the quaint little villages with beautiful stone built churches and traditional french architecture. We have had holidays both in the North and South of France, though we are more familiar with the North and wanted to have a place in the countryside but still be close to the sea. We feel we have the best of both worlds here, the beaches are glorious and close by.
What makes this property unique
Set against a backdrop of beautiful woodland and rolling meadows surrounding the property, South facing garden and terrace, you can enjoy the beautiful views whilst relaxing with friends and family in the heated swimming pool and hot-tub spa. We have 10 acres of private woodland which children will love to explore. Wildlife is in abundance here with deer grazing daily close by and many other visitors including foxes, rabbits and badgers. The property is located in the heart of the countryside but just 1 mile from the market town and 40 minutes from the glorious Pink Granite coast. With the pretty seaside town of Locquirec and miles of sandy beaches.Fantastic!!
