Gorten Farm house, family and pet friendly.

Gorten is a spacious farmhouse that sits looking out towards the sea with a conservatory that leads to a large fenced garden. Wonderful views to Loch Stornoway bay and the Island of Islay. A comfortable family home which has space for everyone.
Gorten is about a half hour drive from the fishing village of Tarbert, Loch Fyne where there are various shops, including a Supermarket, Chemist, Bank, hardware stores as well as Art Galleries, Gift Shops, Restaurants and cafes.
There is plenty to see and do in the area, including a trip to one of the nearby Islands of Gigha, Arran or Islay. Enjoy the Crinan Canal or walk some of the Kintyre Way.
Alternatively walk from Gorten down to the sandy shore, enjoy the fabulous views or take a dip in the crystal clear waters.

Fantastic location, overlooking the sea. Ideal, secure, fenced large garden for our dogs. Spacious, well-equipped family home with welcoming hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Easter Holiday

We had a lovely week’s break in Gorten. The beach, accessed through fields, was deserted. The property is off the neaten track but offered everything we needed for grandad, grandma, mum, dad and two kids. The sunset over Jura was sensational. Trips to Tarbert, Skipness castle and Arran

Fantastic holiday

Really enjoyed our holiday at Gorten. The house is beautiful and the garden is lovely. We all had great fun playing in the garden and watching the stars which are like nothing I have ever seen before. Would definitely recommend. Would like to go again. Lots to see in the area and visit the Isles. 10/10
