The house is child-friendly, with a travel cot; highchair provided; Next2Me cot (newborn - 6 months); and changing mat. There are many toys/books/games/DVDs which guests are welcome to use, and the kitchen is well supplied with kids crockery.
This property does not allow pets, so would suit those with allergies.
Lochindaal is in Whitehouse, on the new Kintyre 66 route - only a short drive from the pretty fishing village of Tarbert. Tarbert offers a good variety of shops, restaurants and cafes, and there are often various events on through the season. Portavadie spa and infinity pool is always a hit with adults and children alike, and a short ferry ride from Tarbert (on foot).
Lochindaal is ideally placed for the whole family to explore Argyll, with the ferry to Islay just minutes away; Arran around 10 minutes away; Gigha 15/20 minutes away; and Portavadie 10 minutes away. Oban is just over an hour up the road.
Skipness is also a short drive, with the castle, seafood cabin, and smokehouse - whilst the famous Machrihanish/West Port beaches are around half an hour south.

About the host
Hosted by Caitlin

Lochindaal sits in a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of the tiny village of Whitehouse. It is the perfect place to come back to unwind after a day out exploring the local area (and further afield!). We are only a mile from the Islay ferry terminal, making it perfect for those wanting to do participate in some of the whisky tours offered on the island (there is a bus stop in Whitehouse, and the bus also stops at the ferry terminal).
The house itself has a relaxed and spacious feel - ideal for multi-generational families. There is plenty to occupy the kids, and the adults will enjoy the outdoor space. The lawn is astro turf, so kids can play without worrying about getting muddy - the garden is also enclosed.
Fishing is available on the nearby West Loch - we would usually expect to catch mackerel. The same is available on Loch Fyne - there are also boats doing trips from Tarbert here. The Waverley also stops at Tarbert on her visits to the area.
There is a fold-up desk in the upstairs bedroom cupboard for those looking for a workspace - the WiFi is suitable for Teams calls etc.
